I think One Piece is my favorite manga (and anime) ever and I’m happy to be a part of the One Piece fandom. I stayed away from OP at first when I saw the art style (that was so stupid x__x) but I’m really really glad that I gave it a try! I love the art style now and wouldn’t want to have it any other way. After watching a couple of episodes I just got addicted to OP xD Then after watching all the episodes that were out I started reading the manga as well. I’ve laughed, cried, screamed and cheered along with Luffy and the crew on their adventures and I’m sure I’ll continue to do so till the end :’) It’s really one of the most amazing manga i’ve seen and this man works hard to give us new chapters every week. I hope that you have/had a wonderful birthday Oda sensei~

Agh i wanted to do a better drawing but time doesnt let me enought time..-sighs- Anyway Happy birthday to both, i have so much to say about Him.

The Man who create such a wonderful manga but also someone who brought many laughs,tears and happiness to so much people inclunding me.

This man gave me so much without knowing it, My family said i must not say this but im gonna say it because its the full truth. One Piece saved me Thanks to One piece i was able to not give up and let my heart disease and loneliness win i was able to Keep fighting, all those years of pain i was able handle them because one piece always gave me hope and laughs Theres no way i can thank him enough him also ace gave me a little selfsteem when i needed and no one was.there back then so Thank you oda also happy Birthday to you and ace!!(^w^)~

This man works at the expense of this health to bring us new chapters of One Piece week, after week, after week. And through those chapter, we’ve both laughed our asses off, and cried until we created a new rivers. This genius is a gift to us - I don’t think I could ever thank him enough for bringing such an amazing manga into our lives, and creating such lively and beautiful characters. Happy 40th birthday, Oda!

I’m not sure where I want to post this birthday tribute to one of my favourite mangaka so I’m posting it here instead. I’ve known about One Piece since high school, but I was a bit cynical about the series because of the earlier drawing style. I did harbor a silly crush on Sanji ever since high school, so when I got the chance to watch the series again on one of our local channels, I decided to watch whatever episodes they have religiously and from there, I fell in love with the story (and fell even more in love with Sanji. This is why I’m still single, but not because of Sanji, but because of my love for Sanji uhuhuhuhu). So I started looking for any copy of the manga, and when I did, I couldn’t stop myself from reading until I finally reached the current chapter (the manga was still in Fishman Island Arc that time). Four months of catching up with the story was definitely worth it. :D

Even if he never gets to see this: Happy birthday, Eiichiro Oda! Thank you for creating One Piece! Someday I’ll be able to create my own stories, too with you as my inspiration. TvT

I am very thankful for your dedication to your fans (like me) and appreciate everything you have done for us!! I was skeptical of getting into One Piece, because I was afraid I wouldn’t like it… But once I watched the anime and read the manga it became an addiction, a good one though! Lol. You have transformed the world of manga. Kudos to you!! (So proud for you!!) I am glad to be a part of the One Piece fandom. The way you created your One Piece world, is one of a kind and I’m soo lucky to have come across it. Thank you for bringing us these amazing characters that I have fallen head over heels in love with. I feel as if I’m in, on the journey with the Strawhat Pirates. I have laughed, cried, screamed alongside with them. So I wish you a happy birthday and also a happy new year!!!! May this year be much awesomer than the last. Have a blast and keep on drawing and writing!! I’ll be waiting for the next chapter!!

But don’t forget to enjoy this gran day with your family. I know I am!!! (Although because of the time difference, you probably already are!!)

And I would also like to wish Portgas D. Ace a happy birthday. He was and still is one of the greatest characters in One Piece history!!! Being the eldest I understand his worry over younger siblings. And despite it all, I still can’t get over his death. (Will not, but it’s okay!) It reminds me the lengths he went through to protect his little brother!
