I just feel like I'm being unfairly stereotyped here. There could be any number of perfectly innocent explanations for the flying fortress.
The civilian applications of high-powered plasma cannons and the innocent explanations for a flying fortress share very little overlap.

What would they do with a Pokémon Conquest sequel? Especially re: Fairy types?
i picture something like BW2 or LAZ that's a direct sequel set a few years after the events of the first game. that way you could do things like introduce new warlords and retainers, and more Pokemon to the region roster. it would also be cool to see worldbuilding elements of Ransei being slightly more advanced in terms of technology! i can see the storyline being some redux of Two Heroes of Ransei, particularly if it ends with the player character and the rival warlord teaming up to fight some greater antagonist.
there's no way of knowing whether it was intentional, but imo the perfect place for a Fairy kingdom was built right into Ransei's map! any of the archipelagos off the region's shore would work, but if it were to be something introduced in the later stages of the game, then i think the one between Illusio and Valora would be the best bet. or, hear me out, the player character is the new warlord of the Fairy kingdom and a lot of the early gameplay is them meeting the other warlords.
everyone is always fighting and hurting each other. i will put an end to this through conquest and subjugation
