To say it was a near perfect day might sound too much for most. 

But after releasing these hatchlings into the wild, with golden light shining down on you one moment, then the sweeter light of the blue hour immediately ensuing, you won’t be able to keep yourself form thinking that and saying it. 

After this shot, I looked behind and saw a full rainbow over our heads.

Sea turtle with reason to be thankful: She may not be as big as Tiny, but this sea turtle is big. The second largest ever to be treated by rescuers at the New England Aquarium, in fact. And she’s lucky to be alive.
