This is Gian with their 3 children they found in a dumpster lol

The kids are not my ocs and belong to @deliciousmusiccoffee

This was actually @deliciousmusiccoffee 's idea, and it was so adorable I couldn't resist, I mean look at the babies!

Remember to flip the canvas while you're sketching! The way Kebab's cheeks squish on Gian's head is so flipping cuteeeee

Meanwhile Apple could not give a care in the world lol and Dumpling is yapping their ear off

Gian named them based on their favourite foods, but the kiddos rename themselves later on

Apple -> Astro

Kebab -> Kupiter

Dumpling -> Dipper

Also, bonus one in Gian Vision TM, so you can see how they see their kiddos, I think it's sweet how much of their markings they can see :)

Overall this was very fun to draw and I adore them so very much ^^

I got started on this as soon as Blix reached out to me ^^ before they really fully came back haha, I got excited, but it all worked out!

A thing i made for a friend on discord that I had a ton of fun doing

Lets get some clothes on ya, there we go

I had to keep switching back and forth between the new and old ref sheets for the markings vs outfit, also remember to flip your canvases!

Bloop, lineart ✨️ (before i discovered csp's straight line tool oops)

Get started on the colouring process, their eyes and tail are my favourite part i love them sm ^^

finish up the clothes and get that tail on there and theyre all coloured yay! Fun fact, the redesign for Rue was supposed to vaguely resemble Gany's redesign, the marking/colouring is similar :>

Rue ended up having to switch from the chucks after this was finished, Cosmo got them back, but Nugget hasn't picked a new weapon, but when they do expect another one of these!

Not quite an art trade, but smth I've been meaning to draw for someone for like ever

The watermark is backwards bc i didn't notice the canvas was still flipped when I finished it 💀

This was an art trade that took me a couple years bc i kept procrastinating then forgetting about it but uhh..

I like how it came out :)

This was the original sketch way back when I was still using ibis

I've since abandoned this sketch method, it was short lived tbh lol

Then after upgrading to csp I went though and decided to get this old trade out of the way ^^

I was using this as a way to procrastinate on a commission but whatever works works ^^'

Base for colouring... I tried to have the armour work coherently but I'm sure I probably misinterpreted a few details

Looking back, the hands are a little wonky, but oh well

I decided not to worry myself with shading and threw some highlights on the metal parts instead and voila, I tried smth new with the metal and I think I like it :)

I adore how her hair came out the most she's very pretty

I don't have any wips of it but i do have a speedpaint so ill throw that under the cut ^^

it was basically a redraw of @deliciousmusiccoffee original drawing of them lol, but tbf theres not many poses you can make to take a selfie 🤷‍♂️

the anatomy around the legs are wonk asf, especially noticeable with Cherry also her hand is fricked to no mans land and Echo's ear is falling off their head but we dont talk about that

I MIGHT redraw it at some point (because I do adore Cherry to bits) but that'll be up to @deliciousmusiccoffee and my own motivation lmao

Alright! This is the first commission I was requested after upgrading to csp ^^

Super fun and discovered my own little chibi style too ^^

The initial sketch looks nothing like the final

Communicated a LOT with this one, went back and forth for a full week and some calls/streams to get it how he wanted, and I LOVE that

Bc of all those back and forths there are far more wip images than i have space to post so there may be some jumps between images

(Always remember to flip your canvases!) Anyway I adored the constrictive criticism, he was very nice about it but also pushed me against my comfort zone and it helped me explore some more options qith drawing references (like the chibi style!)

I think the lineart came out real nice ^^ some things are slightly lopsided now that im looking back but maybe no one else is gonna notice 👀

Added his bags of money and stone and on to colouring!

found a fun way to do scarring, def not a final method but it looks nice i think :) it took a few tries to get a colour pallet for his fur but we got there in the end

99% of the colouring process was in a call/while streaming so I don't have any screenshots of the clothing until it was finished (anticipating wanting to post it later)

And boom! Done ^^ i kept finding tiny mistakes after i finished so theres a ton of "finished" versions out there but this is def the actual finished look I think the chibis are so cute ^^

If you look at the colour pallet box, you can tell i didnt find the hold->line trick yet, but trust j know about it now (after discovering it on accident)

This one was for @transmanleonardo and their oc Lamar! (really hope i found the right tumblr with all that digging)

I struggled a lot with what exactly i was going to do with this one tbh

Ended up settling on my last resort idea : hand holding, but next year I'll be able to do better!

I love how Leo turned out, but feel I could've done Lamar more justice, I'll get it eventually

Alright, this is my very first drawing on clip studio paint! I like drawing the turts flexing sm, look at my baby all smug they're so cuteeee

Anyway I love how this came out and I fell in love with csp pretty quickly :)

Had some fun with the pencil brush, I enjoy the way it feels to draw with it and the pressure sensitivity is to die for

Lining it was pretty fun too, it's so smooth and fun ^^

Coloured it with the same brush as the lineart and boom done ^^ even added some of the smaller scars I usually don't include on ibis

And now for the bonus doodle, the ACTUAL first drawing on csp

I was just testing out brushes on a few different apps and csp took my heart with the lineart

Then a last ibis paint doodle for comparison, I think it clearly shows what I used to love about it, the consistent line weight, the cleanness of the colouring, the complete opposite of the csp doodle which was more of a paper feel, messy colouring, line variation

All the things I like about csp and what drove me to find a new drawing platform after Magma opened me up to the concept of pressure sensitive lines

I will say I very much miss being able to have multiple references i can scroll through and flip between, it's annoying to have to scroll my gallery every time i need a reference of a different character, plus it's crunchier so colour picking a small area can get rough

This is a random oc i made for funsies on the fly, no wips for this one so it's just there, I never named her I don't think but I like how she looks ^^ She's not based on any turtle species, all I was thinking was avoiding the red/green colour combo at all costs

Of course I first started with a pose, pretty neutral, and threw some spots on from the first design that I liked before playing around with other things, like the way the arms and legs are that kind of dip style markings!

Brainstorm a little outfit I thought would make sense for them and boom, on to colouring! I thought a jean vest would make sense for them because theres so many possibilities on what to do with it, and I think they'd like to wear lots of pins ^^

Of course the base design will just be pride pins but in future art of them there will most likely be so many other kinds of pins!
