Okay but in all seriousness, doing this episode where they contrast Mando with the people he trained with is so important. I mean look at it. These assholes are the kind of people he learned how to chase bounties from. He grew up with these people who are clearly trigger happy, eager to take whatever they want, apt to bully and make fun of people for no reason, quick to kill. We’re clearly told that he did things he’s no longer proud of. And he has become someone who, while being v brutally efficient when it’s required, is more eager to negotiate that shoot, who tries to spare people who are uninvolved, who is grateful for help and talks to people like they’re valid and important.

Like, just contrast literally anything these people have said to him so far with how he treated Fuiil, or Cara, or mechanic-lady-whose-name-i-don’t-know, or stupid Toro, or Omera and the kids. He’s somebody who respects people and actually talks to them, and he clearly had to grow into that, because he didn’t learn it from these people. Like… I just love him more the more we learn about him.
