While everyone else had safely gotten over to Knowhere, you immediately notice that Peter had still not made it over. Not being able to hold the ships together any longer, Cosmo eventually collapses on the ground in exhaustion. When it was his turn, he told you some about his home planet The Sovereign and about his mother Ayesha. You hadn’t had the chance to meet her obviously since the Guardians run in with her occurred before you joined, but from what Adam had told you she actually sounded quite pleasant.
“I’m sorry about your mother.” You said genuinely when the conversation slowed down some, to which he nodded in response, clearly still saddened over his mothers death.
“Thank you.” After a bout of awkward silence passes, you turn to him again.
“I know we’ll never replace her, but just know everyone here is there if you need anything.” You stated in an attempt to cheer him up, which actually seemed to have worked as he seemed visibly brighter. “You’ll have friends that have your back.”

“Excuse me?”
“You mean we’re friends?”
“Sure, but don’t push it.” He seemed satisfied with your answer, smiling again as he looked on to the rest of Knowhere who was currently dancing and having fun.

First off, Xenk is a man that’s passionate about what he does for a living. He’s fiercely dedicated to helping those around him in need and to his occupation as a Harper. This doesn’t necessarily mean that he’d be opposed to being in a relationship though, even if his line of work would cause him to be away often and in harm’s way.
In terms of who he would be attracted to, I don’t think that he would have a preference for a certain personality type (introvert or extrovert). Someone who shares his world views and believes in doing what is right would be enough. I do think his partner would need to be understanding and have some patience with him. As we’ve seen he takes things very literally and doesn’t care for casual sarcasm—but I do think it depends on who is making the joke.
Having said all that, I think it would take him a while to develop a crush on someone, and it’d probably be a person that he’s around often. I can’t see him falling for someone that he doesn’t know very well. Maybe they’re a waitress in a local tavern or they have worked with him in the past? I believe he’d take awhile to even realize that he has a crush on someone and probably wouldn’t act on his feelings immediately.
Along with what I have already mentioned I think that he wouldn’t outright tell them that he liked them, but would show his affection through his actions. Obviously he’s already a gentleman but he would be one even more so towards the person that he likes. For example, offering to carry heavy things for them or giving them a hand when getting onto a horse.
While not intentional it would be very obvious to those around him that he likes and cares deeply about this person. Not that he wouldn’t already be doing this as their friend, but he would always offer a listening ear to anything that was troubling them. Additionally, he’d offer words of wisdom if they wanted advice (which may get annoying after a while but he means well).
Eventually, after some time if his crush still hasn’t recognized his feelings for them he will confess. Although you knew deep down that you would miss the time you shared in Poguelandia with your friends, you couldn’t deny the relief you felt when the seaplane safely landed in the nearby pond. Over a month without a fresh shower, clean clothing and food that you didn’t have to catch yourself, made you miss the life you once had with your parents more than you ever thought you would. Not having your parents breathing down your neck about your every move was a nice change of course, but the guilt you felt over how worried they must be in your absence was all consuming. Following closely behind Sarah and John B as they approached the decrepit aircraft, you slowed down some so Pope could fall into step with you.
“Hey! We’re getting out of here!” He exclaimed in an uncharacteristically enthusiastic manner, practically hanging off your arm as you neared the others who were now gathered. He certainly seemed happy, which was understandable. If it was anyone else you would have slipped out of their grasp as soon as their fingers grazed your skin, but with Pope you just gave a close lipped smirk in return. Ignoring the fluttering in your chest, you let him gently pull you along to stand next to John B before slipping out of his hold. “We’re finally getting out of here.”
During your brief time spent stranded on the deserted island, you found yourself growing closer to Pope the more you spent time with him. Beyond the surface level greetings you had in the past, you discovered that you actually had a lot in common. Like him, your plans for the future included getting out of Kildare and getting into a respectable university to secure your future.Whether that was your parents dream for your life or one you conceptualized on your own was still up for debate. While you weren’t nearly as enthused about academics as he was, it was still nice having someone to relate to.
Additionally, despite the other pogues' refusal to hear him drone on about his plans to become a coroner for the hundredth time, you didn’t seem to mind–even though it was accompanied by the occasional playful eye roll. Even with the frequent teasing from Sarah, you convinced them that it was strictly platonic. As aforementioned, albeit spending the majority of your time alone with him, it was simply circumstantial because they were both off with John B and JJ respectively.
If you were being completely honest with yourself, everytime the conversation was brought up–you were unsure if you were trying to persuade them or yourself about your feelings for Pope. Besides, other than the recent weeks you had been on the island, you hadn’t even been around him that much. Much more importantly he had apparently just gotten out of a relationship with Kie and from what little both of them shared, it sounded messy. Considering yourself to be closer to Sarah than to Kiara simply by knowing her longer, your friendship with Kie was going well so far and you didn’t want to ruin it by having a crush on her most recent ex.
It didn’t matter if their relationship seemed one sided with the both of them having seemingly moved on from one another and were content with just being friends. Nor did it matter to you that you would often catch him staring at you out of the corner of your eye and you fought the urge to smile every time he did so(not that you would ever admit that to anyone out loud of course). Putting a best friends’ (with an egregious amount of inside jokes) label on your blossoming relationship was good enough for you, so it should be more than enough to convince everyone else. Regardless of any feelings that you harbored, now certainly wasn’t the time to be acting on them–but then again, would there ever be a good time?
Wiping your smudged glasses off on the faded remains of your t-shirt, you gave the island one last glance before you followed Pope and boarded the metal staircase. Overwhelmed with the prospect of actually being rescued, you admittedly hadn’t been listening to much of what the pilot had said–which was a mistake on your behalf. Normally you’d be the one to overanalyze every situation you encountered, but you had been preoccupied with your own thoughts at the moment. All you recalled was that his name was Jimmy Portis, something about a first aid kit, and that the amount of passengers on board would be slightly over capacity for that size of aircraft. Little did you know, that would be the least of your worries.
The interior was covered from head to toe in trinkets, clothing, metal crates and plastic storage containers filled with yellowing documents. Seating yourself between a pile of clothing and a large crate covered in netting, you attempted to make yourself comfortable in the cramped space as the others made small talk with Jimmy. As a child you had only been on an airplane a handful of times, and certainly never one this small. It wasn’t that you were frightened of planes in general, but the prospect of getting into one this small and clearly outdated was bothersome. The excitement of getting off of the island and eventually back to NC was obviously not enough to eliminate your current concerns. There wasn’t any way of getting around it though, so you settled for suffering in silence and prepared yourself for what was surely to be a rough take off.
“You good?” Pope questioned, tapping your shoulder and leaning over the crate with a concerned expression.
“I’ll be better when we get off this plane.” you reassured, tightening your grip on the strap of fabric with a sigh. He didn’t seem convinced, but nodded and turned back around to face JJ and John B. Missing the first half of their conversation, you happened to tune into the latter half of it to catch Jimmy saying something along the lines of “spotting Wahoo”. Not being as well versed on the topic of fishing as some of the other pogues, you knew enough to know that from the uneasy looks on their faces that something wasn’t right. Before anyone could raise another question, Jimmy shifted the plane into gear and warned you all to hold on for a “spicy takeoff”.
After exchanging a few hushed whispers so that he couldn’t hear, you learned that he was most likely lying because his story about spotting wahoo simply wasn’t adding up due to the time of the year. Debating a couple of more theories about what his intentions could possibly be, you ultimately reached the conclusion that he was likely hired by Sarah’s father Ward and had been searching for you the entire time. As if you needed anymore evidence, the photograph of the boat you escaped from being found between a paperback in Jimmy’s satchel basically confirmed your fate. Things were not looking good and the panic about your situation at hand began settling in, with the coast of Barbados steadily approaching on the horizon.
Throwing around hastily thought through plans of escaping ceased when Jimmy caught on to JJ’s snooping through his things and then engaged in an altercation with him. With so much happening at once it was difficult to focus on one thing at a time. Instead of flying the plane he was wrestling his satchel away from JJ, which left the rest of you holding on for dear life as if you weren’t already being shaken around because of the turbulence. Eventually heeding to your protests about actually flying the plane, Jimmy eventually regained control, but that didn’t save you from the coarse landing. Despite the plane being specially engineered for water landings, it wasn't built to handle such poor steering which led to the aircraft nose diving into the ocean waves below.
Recovering from the rough landing, you struggled to keep yourself above water as everyone scrambled to swim out of the slowly sinking plane. Noticing men clad in cargo pants running towards you after John B pried the door open, your need to get away became even more apparent. When everyone piled out of the wreck and into the water, you noticed that you were one person short. Turning back around and you discovered that Kie was for whatever reason trying to pull Jimmy out of the plane so that he wouldn’t drown. Ignoring the protests of the others and against your better judgment, you swam back and tried to help her. You could honestly care less about Jimmy’s safety but you weren’t going to hang back and watch your friend struggle alone.
Once you successfully pulled him from the cockpit, you both swam towards the shore so you could safely drop him off before regrouping with the others. Thankfully several locals were there to help you pull him out of the water and onto the sand where he eventually began to regain consciousness. At least your efforts wouldn’t be in vain, because before you knew it the aforementioned men in cargos began fastly approaching on ATV’s. Without even a moment to devise a plan, you both scrambled out of the water and up onto the beach, figuring that they would have a more difficult time catching both of you if you split up. Unfortunately but not surprisingly, this didn’t work in your favor. While Kie was able to get away and evade capture, you were unable to and soon were scooped up by two of the men and manhandled onto a truck bed.
In spite of putting up an adequate fight against them and almost outrunning them several times, you knew deep down that you didn’t stand a chance. There were dozens of them and only one of you, not to mention that they were clearly armed and dangerous. It’s not like you could beat someone driving on an ATV anyway. To your surprise, Jimmy approached you with a somber expression on his flushed features.
“We saved your life.” you stated sternly, clearly a mixture between pissed off and out of breath. Stumbling out apologies, he reassured you that he didn’t know things would turn out like this and that they probably wouldn’t harm you if you didn’t put up a fight. ‘Yeah right’ you thought to yourself, rolling your eyes. “What did Ward promise you?” His confusion at your mention of Sarah’s father caught you off guard, he seemed to genuinely not know who you were talking about. If Ward wasn’t responsible for this, who was? Not giving you another chance to interrogate him with more questions, he wished you good luck and walked off to God only knows where.
Taking a glance at your surroundings before the truck drove off, you supposed that you could jump out when the truck was driving slow enough–but something about the glaring man in front of you told you not to even try it. Besides, you were shivering due to being drenched in sea water and beyond exhausted from fighting and the day's events. If you were going to make an escape you would need to save your energy. Exhaling in frustration, you gave the shore one last once over to see if you could spot your friends anywhere–you didn’t see them. Maybe this meant they had hopefully escaped, but the more rational part of you thought their fate could have been far worse. Trying to push the negative thoughts out of your mind, you did your best to prepare yourself for what was to come as the truck pulled off of the beach and onto the nearby main road.
Nothing could have prepared you for the hardship that you endured being kidnapped by who you would come to know as Carlos Singh with Rafe Cameron of all people. Although you hadn’t endured everything that the other Pogue’s had concerning him, you knew enough from them and Sarah that he was a heinous human being. Especially for his actions regarding stealing the cross that rightfully belonged to Pope and his family. That being said, you were grateful for him in one aspect, the fact that he was stupid enough to trust you with a plan that involved escaping Carlos’ mansion and leaving on his personal boat.
Though you had been skeptical at first, you soon hatched a plan to steal his boat from him…and by some miracle it actually worked! After pushing him into the water when he had stupidly fallen for your ruse of needing help with the bowline, you ignored his shouts and took control of the boat, hastily steering it out of the port. Grabbing the phone you had, you quickly texted a meeting place along with the time, desperately hoping your friends would get the message and wouldn’t think that it’s a trap.
Arriving at the next port, you were sure to passing onlookers that you likely looked ridiculous. A teenage girl donned in slate toned silk pajamas and a pair of dingy nike blazers, but clearly you could care less. Your main goal right now was reuniting with your friends, which you were steadily losing hope of ever happening. That was until you decided to walk around to the other side of the boat and were met with a familiar face under a fishing hat.
“JJ?” you called out cautiously, unsure if your eyes were just playing tricks on you. Upon him recognizing you, the other pogues began popping up from out of their hiding places. Quickly traveling down the short flight of stairs you broke out into a small jog so you could meet them halfway. Immediately running out before anyone else could get to you was Pope. Although you missed all of them dearly you’d be lying to yourself if you had said you didn’t miss him most of all. Running straight into his arms, he almost crushed you in a warm bear hug, wrapping his arms securely around your sides. Normally the gesture would have shocked you, but at the moment you couldn’t have imagined being anywhere else.
“Did they hurt you, are you alright?” he worriedly asked, pulling away from the hug and giving your face a once over to check for any bruises or scratches. If not for the current circumstances you would have died from how close his face was to your own. “I’m fine, I’m not injured.” you convinced him with a small laugh looking down at your shoes, glad to hear that he hasn’t changed any despite the horrendous past couple of days that all of you have endured.
“I, I mean we just thought we’d never see you again.” he said bashfully, clearly nervous due to his slip of words he was hoping you wouldn’t catch.
“I was afraid I wasn’t going to see you guys again either. Especially you.” Unsure where that random string of boldness came from, you were content when he pulled you in for yet another hug. While it was short lived because of the other pogues catching up and wanting their own, you were satisfied because whatever you wanted to call the situation you had going on with Pope–you now knew that your feelings were mutual.

Leaving your introduction to mathematics course with a less than satisfactory test score in your hands—it was safe to say that you weren’t having the best day ever. Back in High School math had never been your strongest subject, and you had only scraped by with a low C by the end of your senior year. As expected, college level math courses were far more difficult and your professor was less forgiving when it came to answering questions outside of class time. Although the majority of your class had also done bad if not worse than you on the recent exam, your parents most certainly were not going to take that as an excuse.
Shuffling past the remainder of your classmates loitering in the tiled hallway, you exited the building and headed for your dorm which was located on the other side of campus. Although the soles of the sneakers you currently wore were worn and due to be replaced, you decided to take the long way back just because—you certainly weren’t in a rush. Besides, you were going to take advantage of one of the only days where the heat wasn’t unbearable and there was a pleasant breeze.
Nearing the end of the semester, many other students had begun going home more often to spend time with their friends back home. Making the decision to take the more noble route for the sake of your grade, you had decided to stay in every weekend and study—much to your boyfriend’s disdain.
Seeing as Eddie unfortunately failed his senior year and was forced to retake several classes, the both of you would have to be long distance until he eventually graduated. Even though you hadn’t seen him since Christmas Break and it was now the beginning of April, the only actual issue you had dealt with was the girls in your hall fussing because you were hogging the telephone.
While you had been trying your best to cope with the distance, you couldn’t lie and say you were unaffected by it—especially at times like this. Whenever you were feeling stressed out about schoolwork, Eddie would without fail make you laugh and cheer you up.
Smiling to yourself at the happier memories, you kept walking and saw your dorm building approach in the distance. Since it was a Friday afternoon, many students had thankfully already left for the weekend so campus was desolate with the exception of a few lingering students and resident advisors. For some strange reason though, there seemed to be a long male seated outside of the brick structure with a large mass of black hair obscuring his facial features.
From this distance even with the aid of glasses, you could only make out that he was wearing all black and had a book bag with him. The dorm you were assigned was girls only but maintained a less than strict no men after 5 pm policy. This late in the semester none of the RA’s were even listening to their own rules.
As you grew closer to him, you began to realize that this stranger looked quite familiar—in fact he looked just like your boyfriend Eddie. (The Iron Maiden Shirt should’ve been a dead give away) Realizing it was indeed him several moments later after he raised his head and grinned as soon as he recognized you, there was an undeniable feeling of relief that washed over your body. It was something that just looking at him could change your mood instantly and make you forget about your prior worries. Attempting to look somewhat dignified at first, you eventually gave up and jogged over to him and jumped into his awaiting arms.
Not even trying to muffle the giggles that escaped your lips when he spun you around, you wrapped your arms around him as he set you safely back onto your feet.
“What are you doing here?” You questioned after he placed a sweet peck onto your lips, causing the butterflies in your chest to begin acting up again.
“What do you mean ‘what am I doing here’?” He raised an eyebrow with a mischievous expression beginning to take over his facial features. “I missed my girlfriend so I drove to hang out with her for the weekend.”
“But I have to—” he cut you off with another kiss, effectively shutting you up and leaving you undeniably flustered. You rolled your eyes in response but it was really just in defense so he didn’t tease you.
“No buts.” He interrupted before releasing his hold on your waist and stooping over to get something out of his book bag. “I almost forgot, these my lady, are for you.”
Doing a theatrical bow that only Eddie Munson could pull off, he held a bundle of flowers in his hand for you to take. They were slightly squashed and a fair amount of petals had fallen off, but the gesture brought heat to your [skin tone] cheeks nonetheless.
“You got me flowers?” You asked in shock, finally taking them from his hands as he returned his hands to your [body physique] waist and left one on the small of your back, pulling you closer to him.
“Yep. The flower lady—er florist said they’re called Zinnias. She said they’re supposed to be for when you miss someone.” Returning your arms to their place around his neck, you shyly leaned over to place a peck on his lips, causing his grin to widen as he leaned his forehead on yours.

Hearing some sniffling coming from the large lump situated beneath your comforter, you silently watched as Argyle began to sit up and stretch his arms. Taking in his surroundings, he slowly peered over at you with red eyes.
“How long was I out for?”
“Just a couple of hours.” You responded, redirecting your attention to the assignment the both of you were supposed to be working on together. Seeing as Argyle’s grades had been slipping recently, your teacher paired you with him on an assignment in hopes that they would get better. Initially, you weren’t exactly thrilled to be working with him. He had a reputation for not completing his homework and barely showing up to class.
You were pleasantly surprised when you actually got the chance to spend a substantial amount of time around him. Sure, he was high 80% of the time and had not a clue on how to assist you with the assignment, but he still tried to help whenever he could and always had a free box of pizza for you to munch on while you worked. It also helped that you had been harboring a small crush on him for the past couple of weeks since you had begun to work on the project.
It was currently the weekend before your assignment was scheduled to be presented and you were nearing completion. While you had done the majority of the work all on your own, Argyle offered to be the one to actually present it in front of the class in order to keep up with his end of the bargain.
“What time is it?” He asked, still in a sleepy daze.
“It’s almost 12.”
“Oh man, your parents are gonna freak I better get out of here!” He was suddenly more alert as he kicked his long legs from underneath your bedspread.
“Don’t worry about it, they aren’t even here.” You reassured him, putting the final touches on your assignment. “You can uh, just stay here for the night if you want.” Having been over at his place several times at this point, you knew he lived almost an hour away and didn’t want him driving home in this state.

Turning off your bedside lamp, you awkwardly slid into bed next to him, hoping that he couldn’t hear the sound of your heart thumping out of your chest. Argyle was lankier than you had thought, it was impossible to lay comfortably without one of your arms or legs brushing his. If someone told you a month ago that you’d be sleeping next to Argyle you would have called them crazy, yet here you were. Eventually, you both fell into a peaceful sleep.

It was a frigid Sunday afternoon in Hawkins, which was unfortunately the norm for this time of year. With it being a three day weekend for the observation of the Presidents Day Holiday occurring tomorrow, most were either vacationing out of town or spending the day indoors to keep warm. On the other hand, you had a shift to work until the store closed around 4 pm.
Although you were attending college several hours away, you always made a point to return to Hawkins whenever you had a break to pick up some shifts at your old high school job. Between the weather and the holiday combined, you shouldn’t get any customers today anyway—and that was fine by you.
Even though you enjoyed helping customers find what they were looking for and recommending them new songs, college had been quite stressful lately and you could use the alone time. Besides, the lack of influx of customers meant you could play whatever you wanted—hence why ‘Lucretia My Reflection’ was now floating out of the store speakers.
Humming along to the music, you didn’t even notice the bell attached to the front door ringing signaling someone’s entrance.
“I don’t see much evidence.” You sang quietly, alphabetizing the Prince vinyls. “I don’t feel, I don’t—!” You squealed as you felt two cold hands grab your sides and lift you in the air momentarily before setting you back on the floor. Turning around with the full intention of punching your attacker, you put your hands down and sighed once you realized who it was.
“Eddie Munson.” You murmured irritatedly with an eye roll before resuming your organizing as he doubled over in laughter. “To what do I owe this visit?”
“I haven’t seen you since Christmas break and I don’t even get a hug?” He complained with mock sincerity as he leaned on the wall next to you. Your “friendship” with Eddie was interesting if one could call it that. You didn’t really interact with eachother too much before you graduated from Hawkins High School in 1984, but actually began talking more as he began to come into your store that summer searching for the latest Metal releases. The majority of your conversations consisted of arguing why in your opinion gothic rock was far superior to metal, and vice versa from his point of view.
“I’ve never given you a hug Eddie.” Glancing over at him while he picked through the new releases section, you took note of what he was wearing. He donned his usual leather jacket with an ebony flannel underneath along with a Motörhead graphic t-shirt. You had to admit, he looked nice.
“Whatever, do you guys have the new Metallica album yet?”
“That doesn’t release until next month.” You corrected, moving to another part of the store.
“Well where’s the Black Sabbath section?” You laughed before pointing it out on the other side of the store.
“You’re still not over your Ozzy phase are you?” You teased, holding back a snicker.
“How many times do I have to tell you [Last Name] it’s not a phase!” He began ranting, waving his hands around in the air as he scanned the selection of cassettes. “Ozzy is—”

“Leave Peter out of this.” You asserted before walking over to where the Bauhaus cassettes were stationed. You had hidden the store's last copy of ‘Burning From the Inside’ and planned on purchasing it before your shift was over—only it was nowhere to be found.
“Looking for this?” He asked, waving said tape in his hand.
“Give it here.”
“Come and take it.” He challenged, holding it beyond your reach over your head. Jumping up and down attempting to snatch the cassette out of his hand, you placed a hand on his chest to keep yourself from toppling over into him. Ignoring how close your faces were getting, you continued your reaching to no avail. Just as he placed his free hand on your [body physique] waist to help you keep your balance, you both were interrupted.
“Excuse me,” an older woman who had just entered the store with a bewildered expression stated, clearly questioning what she had just walked into. “If you aren’t busy I’d like some assistance please.” Moving away from each other, you put on your best customer service smile and ruffled your floor length skirt as you walked over to her.

“This is my friend Max. The one who never wants to play D&D.” Dustin warily gestures to Max as she quickly waved her hand before letting it flop back down at her side. “And this is [First Name]. She graduated from Hawkins High School a few years ago.” A wave of relief washed over you as you watched Eddie’s troubled eyes light up at the sight of your presence.
“Eddie, we are on your side. I swear on my mother!” A couple of agreements floated around the room before Eddie eventually released his hold on Steve and slid down the wall defeatedly. It was truly painful seeing him like this, completely devoid of his usual antics—a shallow shell of his former self.
It wasn’t your decision or idea to keep your relationship with Eddie a secret, but he insisted on it. Getting together in the Spring semester of 1984 after being friends for several years, he had made the request after he realized he would be in school for at least another year. Though you had made it clear to him from the very beginning that it didn’t bother you, he was aware that some other senior girls were giving you a hard time for just being friends with him.
On top of that, you were leaving for college in the Fall, and your parents were not the most open minded when it came to you dating someone who was soon to be in their 5th year of high school. Thankfully, your relationship worked out fine long distance, with you coming home at least once a month and on every single break—hence why you were currently in Hawkins.
Feeling a lump swell up in your throat and a slight stinging beneath your eyelids, you stepped around Dustin’s squatted form and knelt next to the both of them on the floor. Watching as he flinched when Dustin tried to touch him, you decided that you should help.
“Eddie.” You placed a gentle hand on his face, which he ended up leaning into. “We are here to help you, please tell us what happened.” Taking the hand you had placed on his face and interlacing it with his own, he began explaining what happened in the trailer the night before. Every time a tear made its way down the side of his face, you would lean it to wipe it away with the sleeve of your sweater. Normally you were uncomfortable with showing this much affection in front of others, but none of that mattered in this moment.
Eddie needed you, and you were going to make sure that you were there for him.
“You all think I’m crazy right?” He finished his story, looking down at his lap and tightening the grip he had on your hand.
“No. We don't think you’re crazy. We believe you.” A chorus of reassurance surrounded you both as he lifted his head before shaking it in disbelief.
“We’re serious.” You stated quietly, looking him dead in the eye before he leaned his head on your shoulder and you pulled him into your arms.
“Thanks sweetheart.” He muttered before wrapping his arms around your [body physique] waist.
“Are you two…together?” Steve asked while you pulled away, Robin slapping his arm soon after.
“Now isn’t the time Steve!”
“I hate to break up the moment here, but you know how people say that Hawkins is cursed? They’re not way off.” Dustin began while you and Eddie shared a glance before gesturing for him to continue. He kept a hand on the small of your back, fumbling with the edge of the sweater you were wearing. He was still stressed obviously, but he had seemed to calm down some.
You weren’t sure what was going to be in store for either of you in the coming days but you were sure of one thing—you would be by Eddie’s side through all of it.
