What I’ve learned 10 weeks into IB...
Sleep. Seriously. You may have friends that stay up and do all nighters, but sleep, taking care of yourself is important.
On that note make sure you eat and take care of yourself too. School is important yes, but it’s kind of like your day job. Your body is your life.
A good planner or bullet journal can make or break you. My planner is my life saver. Why try to remember your homework assignments and test dates when you can write it down? If you have a planner, try to stick to it. I know some people don’t feel like using it but once you get into the groove, you’ll love it.
Don’t let your assignments pile up. A lot of times, you’ll tell yourself to do your math homework later in the week and before you know it you have 2 projects and a presentation to do too.
Form study groups. Study groups make things fun and it puts less pressure on yourself while still holding yourself accountable. I recommend google docs because two years later when final exams roll around, you’ll still have your notes, but do whatever works best for you.
On that note, sometimes having a group chat with people in a certain class can make things less stressful. Easy place to ask questions and suffer through homework together.
Get involved! Join a club, learn a new skill, or do something for you. With all of this school work getting piled on you, it’s important to make sure that you still do something for yourself.
Set smaller goals for yourself. A lot of times you get these big projects (an AI or an HI or your EE) and it’s a lot to do all at once and even think about, but just saying by Tuesday I’m going to pick a topic sounds more manageable.
Organization, planners, and folders. Organization is key. Let everything have a place and everything should be in that place, and you should know where that place is. As long as it works for you, it’s fine.
Most of all don’t sweat the small stuff! We’re all human.
There’s a ton of tips, I could’ve done. These were just the most important off the top of my head. Also technically I wrote it after starting the IB program but it totally applies to just school in general.
What I learned from IB: don’t do IB
I’m so fucking ready for this movie oh my god.
rach’s piano sonata 2: a summary
As a violin player, this looks like normal every day sheet music for me. This was what my high school scores looked like almost every class. I don’t get why this is suppose to be funny.
ur a violinist this is a piano piece ∴ no correlation
no one asked,,,sweaty (:
It’s *edible*
Reasons not to add me on snapchat:

So my roommate and I got these Rudolph Christmas coloring books a couple of weeks back. Since it’s finals week, I wanted to ease my mind into studying by coloring. First time opening the book and I saw this picture..
And I thought to myself
Oh my god do I try.
