Rowaelin shipper since HoF

Am I the only one who shipped them since HoF?

Was I the only one whose heart broke when he was fighting against his cadre to help Aelin?

Was I the only one who squealed when he offered his bleeding hand to her when she was fighting the valgs and said “I claim you too, Aelin Galathynius”? I actually cried.

When Rowan immediately rushed to Aelin after his blood oath with Maeve was broken, when he whispered her name like a prayer, and when he kissed her brow before dropping to his knees before her.

My heart soared.

I’m pretty sure there were a lot of moments that made my heart flutter but these are the only things I could think of right now.

When they shared their backgrounds, like Lyria’s death and Aelin’s time in Endovier (when Rowan first saw her scars)

When Rowan gave her the tattoos while she sang and cried - never once interrupting her

When he sat beside her on the bank of the lake after she had her break down (the ‘Fireheart - why do you cry?’ part)

When Rowan carried her from the cell that was her room and took her to his bedroom and said that she would be staying there from now on.

When he rescued her from the skinwalkers and they were all huddled up in the tree.

Yeah. I could probably go on as well. I honestly started shipping them when Rowan first saw her scars. Just the way he reacted is what really sparked it for me.

I remember so many people kept asking me to paint Rowan with short hair 😂 and I kept refusing it 😂😂 honestly I don’t like his character and didn’t want to paint him again just because he changed his hairstyle.
