"Bought her at auction and spent the last three years restoring her. She didn’t even run when I got her," she laughed, fingers tracing over the steering wheel. "I’m used to cops, so it doesn’t really bother me. Rollins treats me more like a niece than a suspect for anything anymore."

"That's impressive," he complimented "I use to help my grandpa fix up old cars, but that was a long time ago." I looked at the girl carefully, "If you don't mind, can I ask why you are so familiar with cops?"

Reshouldering the backpack she’d sat down, Izzy followed him out. “Thank you, but I should probably lay off of the coffee and I’m not a tea drinker. I should probably atleast introduce myself, even if I’m being kept out of the records. Name’s Izzy. Izzy Sayre.”

He nodded and held the door to a conference room open for the girl. "Nice to meet you Miss Sayre." He looked at the other again, "Sayre, that name sounds very familiar." He thought for a moment, "I think there was a case awhile ago that involved a man named Sayre."

"Of course you are but that still doesn’t explain why you are so very far afield." She murmured  tiredly.

Taking a deep breath, she slowly let it out as her eyes met his. “Because I’m related to the asshole that’s responsible. I ran into him recently and he made a few comments that stuck out.” She’d pulled forward her best poker face. Thank sanity for learning how to pull the best of best blank faces when I was younger.

He watched the girl as she spoke, and she definitely seemed to be telling the truth. "Okay," he grabbed a pad of paper, "lets go to a conference room, where it's a bit quieter, and you can tell me what you know." He gave her I reassuring smile, a genuine one this time, and motioned to the door. "Do you want me to grab you anything to drink first? A water? Coffee? Tea?"

She caught the look, a hint of pride filling her. “A wise choice since, uh, my car rocks,” she laughed, unlocking the doors and sliding in. “You’re odd for a cop type. Less uptight.”

"I'll say," he said with a stupid smile still on his face. "I'd love to have a ride like this," he added as he got in the car. He shrugged, "Most people don't talk to cops, so it's easier to do my job if I don't act like a cop."

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been replying very quickly. I just joined a new RPG and was work on setting up that character. I will definitely be doing replies and starters before I get off again, but after that I probably won't be back on until tomorrow.

"Then I am honored," she replied with a warm smile. "I’d say no, but coffee and clients some times go hand in hand. So we’ll say not unless work is involved? And, uh, your car or mine?" she asked, gesturing to her Beast.

"As am I," Gabriel nodded before looking to where she gestured. His eyebrows shot up, "Your car, if you don't mind," he felt a smile spread across his face.

Izzy only offered a weak smile. She didn’t really want to be there, but knew she had to tell him what bit she knew. ” Um. I’m here about the recent attacks on cops and agents. I-I might know who’s organizing them. I think they’ve also been behind the recent attempted bank robberies also. Please, I just ask that I be kept out of any reports.”

Gabriel watched the girl and felt his face fall as she spoke. "Funny, I was just doing some paperwork on that case," he forced a smile. "We can manage to keep your animitity," he promised. "I must ask though, how did you come by this information, miss?"

He looked at her like she was crazy and started to laugh, "Apparently I'm asleep, I must be dreaming..."

"I would say the next time I could be someone taller and more intimidating." Hael laughed dusting herself off. after make sure she was alright she took a look at the person before her."Its fine, I’m fine."

"Oh, I think you're intimidating enough," Gabriel grinned. "I'm truly sorry. Are you sure you're okay?"

"Is this how all of your investigations turn out?" she teased, making her way out of the building and into the warmth of the sun.

"No, I've got to say, this would be a first," Gabriel smirked and moved to open the door for his new acquaintance. "Do you often go for coffee with complete strangers?"

Gabriel had been working on some paperwork while the other guys went out on a coffee run. When he heard the door open he didn’t even look up, “That was quick, did you guys rememb-“. He stopped when he finally looked up and saw a stranger standing there. “Sorry, I thought you were someone else,” he stood up. “I’m Special Agent Oxley, Can I help you?”

FINALLY, after almost a year, I can use my laptop again. Which means I can use gifs again and will probably be on more often!! I'll do replies a bit later tonight.
