People will literally do anything and everything but turn to God in search of meaning and validation. And then when all those pursuits are exhausted, THEN they turn to God. When they are desperate. When they have no where else to go.

And God is still forgiving and patient. It makes sense to go right ahead and seek Him first, spare yourself the exhaustion.

Now that Netflix has released a movie about twerking 11 year old girls I do not want to hear anyone deny that the slippery slope is real ever again.

The reality is that the sexual revolution will not stop until every last taboo has fallen and every perversion not just normalized but shoved into your face wherever you go.

There are now twerking children on Netflix, a stripper rapping about her genitals on the radio and drag queens reading perverted books to elementary schoolers in your local library.

And the people who told you this would happen were dismissed at every step of the way until we arrived in this hellscape.

On days like today, when I doubt God and doubt myself, I have to remember there were many days like this before and I got through them. He was there.

your singleness is worth more than compromising your God given worth & values for someone who is not leading you closer to the Lord. sorry to break it to you, but if they influence or entertain ANY type of sin in your life, they aren’t the one. big or little, sin is sin. stop justifying it. stop excusing it. God isn’t going to send you someone who is going to make you suffer spiritually, but the devil will. & because our feelings are deceptive, you will think it is love. it is not. ask yourself this - is your salvation worth losing for a “love” that isn’t true or eternal? are you sacrificing your relationship with God for a relationship with someone who’s leading you astray?

i hope this reaches whoever needed it & i hope you take it to heart. i say these things with nothing but love. for a long time, i allowed myself to settle for people, things, & even feelings that were holding me back from being the woman God created me to be. choose to live for God, not the world & not the things of the world. God is eternal. the world is not.
