Maddie is a candy club employee, and in her free time she babysits as a side gig. She is beloved in the town by many, everyone seeing her as a friendly face who will always make you feel happy. But what they don't know is that she has dark secrets... she is in a relationship with Bob velseb, the cannibal sereal killer, and joins him every Halloween in his hunt for human flesh. But don't fret, she doesn't allow bob to go after anyone she knows. They love eachother deeply, but Maddie can't let anybody know about him, so keeps her love life a secret. She is also apart of the cult with bob, having one of the cults amulets in her chest. It doesn't give her insane durability like bob, but rather it lets her feel whatever bob feels both physically and emotionally. She loves soda, sleep, cozy things, singing and drawing. She is a vampire, and hides this fact from people, telling them her fangs and wings are just fake. Her cult amulet lets her go out in the sun and see herself in the mirror even though she’s a vampire.
Angel Jones is a detective/ criminal interrogator who works for mayor evermore. She is in a relationship with bob velseb, (multi-shipper here) but it’s more of a lovers/ enemies dynamic. She keeps him from getting arrested by cleaning up his… messes… and also helps jack and John at the police station, being best friends with them. Her Halloween costume is an angel to contrast with bob’s devil costume.
Erica Evermore is the rich and spoiled daughter of Mayor Evermore. She loves money, and flaunting her status as the mayor’s daughter. Tell this diva no, and she’ll certainly bring on the waterworks. She also works as a forensic pathologist alongside Patty, and is in a loving relationship with her. She gets a hefty allowance from her dad.
Ignite’s goal in life is to get a cult amulet out of the chest of one of the cult members, since most of the members have one in their chests. He will kill whoever if it means getting his hands on one. he can vanish in a blink, and one of his hands will burn your skin and sting it worse than any pain you’ve ever felt. His hand is also a separate entity that just lives on his arm, like a venom situation. He works as a home salesman whenever he’s not investigating the cult and stuff around it. He seems off-putting to many, but he tries to be as friendly as possible. He is friends with John and regularly helps him investigate the cult. It is unknown what he plans to do once he gets the amulet. He wears a cloak, but only whenever he goes out to hunt cult members. Nobody knows his secrets. Not about wanting the amulet, the black flame entity, none of it. He was born in a lab, and tested on, being seen as a vessel for the being they created, placing it on his hand.
Hazel is the daughter of the eyes of the universe, a large eldritch entity that resides underneath the spooky house on the hill, and is worshipped by the cult that resides there. Born from a ritual the cult did, the ritual summoned the eyes, and then he formed his tentacles a cocoon, and baby Hazel emerged a few seconds later. The cult raised her, and when she grew up, she became a member of the church. She pretends to be a devout nun, but in reality only is doing it to spy on Gregor. Her loyalty is purely in the cult. She spends just as much if not more time on the house on the hill than she does at the church. Many see her pray quite often, and they just assume it’s prayers to heaven. But it is in fact prayers to the eyes. She has an eldritch monster form, very reminiscent of her dad.
