This catchy number on behalf of the NSPCC serves as a PSA to make children aware of predators who may ask to see or touch ‘what’s in their pants’. Follow Pantosaurus and friends as they learn to tell strangers ‘NO’ and confide in adults they trust. This is being shown to children of primary school age, and is so infectiously catchy that I know two little ones who asked to listen to it at home too.

With its offbeat comedy and strong feminist themes, Broad City often borders between reality and fantasy, whether in daydream format or hallucinogenic trips, so it’s actually not too much of a stretch to imagine main characters, Abbi and Ilana re-enacting some of the antics of an icon of female empowerment: Laura Croft. While sponsored content isn’t usually very engaging, I thought that this particular ad spot was very appropriate.

IKEA (Singapore in this instance) loves to play with the notions of love and romance each Valentines Day. With this quirky little series, they are reveling in the everyday absurdity in a way that embraces a longstanding brand element - the characters of their often wordless instructions.

Who knew how many of life’s problems could be solved by this one brand. Seriously, the Martin one alone. Add in that this mini campaign exists entirely within Facebook and you get a V Day campaign people will readily share as an expression of their otherwise normal romance. Gold, as always.

The second in my series of ‘bin poster’ photos. This time targeting dog litter, the ‘Identity Poo-rade’ to find out ‘Poo-Dunnit’ is a little ‘extra’ but the pun-heavy poster certainly get the message across.

I have a newfound interest in some of the more ridiculous signs posted on public bins encouraging people not to litter. This is just one, which seems to adapt Nike’s slogan ‘Just Do It’ and the ‘tick’ from the Sure deodorant logo. I’ll continue to post more as I find them!
