I set up my reading room today while blasting an 80’s metal playlist. When Iron Maiden came on, Jack got the most intense case of the zoomies I’ve ever seen. I think I found his favorite band 🥰

I’ll be completely moved into my new house next week, which is fantastic and exciting, but I’m sad about leaving this apartment.

It’s been my perfect little home for the last four years, safe and comfortable with an incredible view that inspired literally hundreds of photographs. I’ve grown more emotionally and artistically here than I have anywhere else, aside from my childhood home. I feel like I really “found” myself here, as corny as that sounds.

I’m the only person who’s rented this place so far, and I feel strangely protective of it. Hopefully, the tenants after me will love it as much as I have 🩷
