Hey guys, I don't normally post things like this but I needed to bring your attention to @dbzdaikobattle @smashoverse @lugetavecario (HE CHANGED HIS NAME AGAIN!) and @lucariolikeskitbodega (They seem like they are the same person or have at least been saying similar things). They've been harassing and saying vile things to a lot of people in the Gameoverse community. They even caused a user on here to leave Tumblr entirely since they were receiving disgusting messages and vile threats from one of these users. DO NOT INTERACT WITH THIS PERSON/THESE PEOPLE, JUST REPORT THEM, BLOCK THEM, AND TAKE SCREENSHOTS AS EVIDENCE. Stay safe out there everyone, we can get through this if we stick together and make sure this guy/these guys are out of here for good.

Edit: Another user I found is @drinkinghaterade. They appear to be the same person as the ones listed above, so I recommend blocking them too as they have also been saying awful things.

Edit 2: BTW, I probably won't post things like this ever again, I just wanted to warn people and bring attention to these accounts as I do not appreciate hate towards fellow artists.

If you are within the Gameoverse or Selfshipping community, you will know that this man is not one that is safe to interact with. There are multiple accounts and posts documenting his harassment towards users when things don't go his way.

His harassment includes:

Making transphobic/homophobic comments

Threatening self harm/suicide

Threatening with rape

And telling people to kill themselves just for what they create and how they identify.

As well as manipulation and harassment in DMs.

this is REALLY important to me as someone who has both NPD and BPD. i very often see people using narcissistic or delusional as insults and it drives me ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NUTS.

narcissistic does not mean Evil Bad Abusive Person. delusional does not mean Crazy Stupid Person With Bad Opinions. dealing with things such as narcissism or psychosis can and will absolutely ruin your life. and i mean, DECIMATE it. that's not to say other people won't be affected either, but the sufferer is the one who has it the worst. do not use words unless you actually know the meaning behind them, and who is impacted.

i should note that there are various different types of delusions, and the way to handle them depends on which specific type they are. persecutory delusions, characterized by believing someone is out to get the person in some way, may require you to be even gentler than normal in your approach due to that extreme paranoia (very common in BPD). but something such as somatic delusions characterized by thinking something is physically wrong with oneself can require a different approach.

generally speaking, the way to handle delusions is to validate the feelings caused by the delusion, without feeding into the delusion itself. this can show up as you saying "it sounds like this is really upsetting you, can you tell me about it?" this helps the person feel seen without having their delusions worsen. obviously this is not an end-all-be-all statement, but you should keep this general sentiment in mind when interacting with someone experiencing a delusion.

dealing with things such as narcissism, psychosis, psychopathy, and more is actual hell on earth which i would never wish upon my worst enemy. please be mindful of the language you use to describe people/characters because there ARE real people out there who are affected by these things. i am one of those people, as are many others.

Sorry that I'm adding another addition four months later- but this also has really been bothering me. I'd say it's incredibly annoying at best to see people referring to a canonically true thing as a "delusion". It's not! Spamton is meant to LOOK delusional to other people in game, but he isn't!

I think content where he has psychosis in some way is interesting, but it often hinges on the idea that something canonically true is what he's "psychotic" about. When it isn't. It can for sure trigger some other type of psychosis, don't get me wrong! Like him acting religious about it for sure could be something else, but it also could just be the fact that he's praying to an eldritch being. We don't know!

The point of this post isn't to go "this character is delusional but this character isn't". It's just asking "hey, you should do your research before you use words about mental health willy nilly or claim something!"

Quiet Time

There is a specific reason behind this composition.

While the vertical format is great for smartphone screens, I also wanted to use negative space to create a distinct mood.

I believe that negative space can express a character's inner emotions. In this piece, the character is small, and the background takes up about 80% of the canvas. By drawing the character so small, I can evoke a sense of loneliness and solitude.

Another key point is the placement of the cloud shadows. I intentionally kept Caine out of the shadow. You can see the boundary between the light and the cloud shadow. I used this high contrast to make the character stand out and emphasize their presence.

Finally, let us look at Caine's angle. I purposely hid Caine's face and positioned them to show their back. If their expression were visible, this artwork would probably feel cute rather than lonely. I enjoy drawing figures from angles where you cannot see their faces. This approach leaves room for viewers to wonder what the character is thinking.

I’m gonna be honest about something happening in my life right now, but a big reason why I haven’t been able to work on commissions and focus on this blog is because I (and many friends of mine) have become the target of severe harassment by someone named Ca///yden Har///isson.

I’ve been posting stuff about the Game0verse pilot on my self ship alt blog, and that was enough for him to start attacking me for liking a fucking tv show. He recently did a total 180 though and is now bullying fans for either head cannoning the main character as lesbian, or for blocking them for various reasons.

Recently, his main target is a good mutual/friend of mine who’s popular in the self shipping community, because she blocked his dumbass after he sexually harassed her multiple times. It’s stressing me out that he’s stressing HER out, and it’s caused me to fall behind on work and motivation.

I’m so sorry for not getting shit done immediately. This on top of normal work and executive dysfunction has really had me in a knot. I’m sorry.
