I’m finally kind of back! I'm so busy (and anxious) that I had to stay out of the internet in every possible way; the end-of-semester season is insane when you’re studying to enter college.

I haven’t been here since my new cat arrived (the one I rescued back in January but could only bring it home now) and we started her adaptation. I only came back to vent about how hopeless this process feels.

She arrived Friday, and we’ve been going slow; today was the first time they saw each other. However, my first cat still is snarling towards the new one.

I'm anguished, thinking that maybe she’ll never like her sister or get used to her presence, becoming an angry cat unlike before. I'm afraid because I had never seen her act like this; I just want them both to be happy.
