I know there's already a ton of welcome au's but why not add another in the mix? Basically in this Au, the show got popular enough for The Playfellow Workshop to make an "indoor amusement center" in which kids would be able to interact with the animatronic Welcome characters and other activities (similar to a Chuck e Cheese or Billy Bob's Wonderland sorta thing). Although I'd assume the place didn't stay open very long due to the shows short runtime (that and the fact that the animatronics didn't come out as huggable & soft as their puppet counterparts) There's still so much to add & design but I adore how it's coming out!
