Been doing fine and also it's sort of hard to choose one right now 🤔 because I've been listening neat songs recently and cool imaginary scenes pop up in my mind when I do

Maybe my boy Kay because I have been thinking of cool oc animatics with awesome action scenes I could make from the playlist I'm listening and probably couldn't make but I could try and also he's relatable in a way aside from having blue hair hajdjs

Out of all your object camp characters you made, what would their favorite foods to eat be?

Off with a great start with an ask but unfortunately a bad timing because I'm gonna explain first the context of it since like most of my followers might be or not aware about object shows, although I do have some mutuals follow me here who knew

and also I have not made much content about it while I still watch some shows so I'm guessing

you, anon might one of those object mutuals I have met or someone from that community

or those comments on that site before I left years ago that would demand me to join their camps, which it's pretty late because I have other plans to finish /hj

If you guys reading this that didn't know what it is then I could try to explain like a summary of it:

So there's a thing called Object Shows. Any kind of object as people with limbs or without limbs depending how they look. There's a whole community of them called Object Show Community. They would make shows using objects in any forms of medium through animation mostly, sometimes people tried to be creative to make one by going out of the formula.

And within it, there's Object Camps. They're like OC Tournaments but with objects and following the object show process like BFDI and Inanimate Insanity where you compete with other users and play with tokens or gimmicks to keep your ranks and you're participating using art and animation, and make creative solutions the given prompt challenge by the host until the last one standing. Like an object show but you're competing in it for whatever is the prize. It's pretty popular in DeviantArt groups back then like TROC and goes on a conga line of it

I have competed atleast twice to atleast to have fun and enjoy there because it looks fun

This is Carol, originally she's called a Parol like a Filipino Christmas lantern but since most people don't know what it is or might mistaken it as "parole" so sometimes she often called Star Lantern. I first competed in a object camp called BFDIT or Object Wars using her as my contestant. I met a few cool people there and honestly it feels like a wild journey looking back to it

And this is Spring Dream Catcher. Either be called Spring Dream, or just simply Dream Catcher if you will. I competed as her in a camp called Camp Hex and the last one I have participated. I would say the same as its also fun but I ended up quitting due I was moving from the site. But atleast I could still get in touch with some mutuals I met there.

Now to answer your question, anon

an oc chart challenge that I accidentally put too much effort on the graphics and thinking too much outside of the boxes

This was originally made few months on an oc meme I saw on Twitter. It's been a wip for months so I just polished it recently.

Now idk where was the original image of this I originally saw on the mentioned site. It could this one but it has a different watermark than this first draft I made. It looks like this if anyone's interested but it's sort of low quality.

Some ramblings if you wanna know about them and some progress while making this 🔽:

(might be a long post of me rambling and rambling so yea)

This is the first draft of the thing. While I was in the middle of sketching the assigned characters in their lil boxes, I have thought to myself that every oc I had is a favorite. I had so many favorites and yet I had to pick one of them to represent in the box which made me think of a scenario that my ocs would fight for that position and I thought it would be funny for that idea. Some of them were just go with it and others want some competition.

And with that, it's out of the boxes but it's still the same concept

(Normally I would send a link of my Toyhou.se if people want to read about my original characters but stuff there is a mess right now so why not a little introduction in here)

Now to introduce characters briefly from left to the right:

Molly is one of the first ocs I have created and I did said it often between some mutuals if they know. She has been a lot of changes through out development that might be too long to explain it. So basically, they're one of my childhood ocs

Poplin is easiest to draw. I can easily draw him from memory like just look at him. He's pawn-shaped friend-shaped ghost. He's used to be the favorite and that "easiest to draw" title until this guy shows up 👇

Kay is my cool jolly cowboy man. Originally he was supposed to be a planned adopt for fun but I immediately got attached when I created him. The reason I like him as the favorite is that he's really cool. in terms of design and probably in his little story which gonna be about action cowboys (in s p a c e). He's sort of dueling between Poplin who is still my fave hence why he's nervous and latter is mad here.

Percy is originally an oc from a friend of mine. They gave me because we both struggle on his design while I did finalised him to my liking. I tried maintaining his shape since I wasn't used to draw other body types as I wanted to try. Nevertheless, he is one of my faves but he's a sweetheart to fight the other two 👆 for that title

For the latest oc, originally I have made recently is kind of a spoiler character at the moment when I was brainstorming ideas so I'll choose whoever's comfortable for me to show. This is Terra! They're an oc based around food for a friend group. Specifically, they're based from a dish called tiramisu and honestly they're aren't explored much for their own character yet because I forgot to interact with my friends there. I used to be like free on whatever they do but now life's just busy and I just only pop in whenever I have time.

Now for the artist! It's Lin, the little mascot. It's not my actual name btw as they used to be a joke character from Poplin's name. They're just looking like that one meme where the disaster girl looks at the camera with fire at the background. You might noticed a new design like the little antennas because I wanted to have a space vibe addition to my new year, new me looks

making a comic

I was testing if I could draw comics with a new stylus I had as I have been drawing with my finger in Medibang for atleast three years and it does feels differently drawing with a finger than drawing with a pen but it turns out both methods are just fine except when it I'm with the stylus, it felt a bit easier to do

the actual comic in the making but I can only show you this duck because they're important lol
