The streets were dark, though it wasn’t like Koumorimei could tell. Whether there was light or not didn’t matter to him in the grand scheme of things. Seeing via normal means was not an option with the way his master kept his appearance. Why it was so important to keep the upper half of his face covered remained a mystery, and he would never dream of asking. It was better that way.
As he roamed the city, searching for the next eligible candidate for the group, he kept his ears open. While it was hard to navigate without making a noise, he knew it had a purpose. He didn’t need stealth. He just needed to avoid whatever figure was looming nearby.
It didn't notice him at first. It was too busy taking down a random thug in an alleyway (and maybe accidentally making them go partially insane but that's neither here nor there). Despite having too many eyes and a general sense of their surroundings, it wasn't always able to sense who would be approaching. Their mind was too overstimulated constantly due to its quirk. Sometimes it wished it could rip off its own wings or hair. But there'd be no point in that. The voices would continue.
So instead it tried to drown out the voices. Those terrible voices. No doubt, the thug they had caught could hear the voices, too. Since they were surrounded by it's eyes and feathers. But, Tenshi shockingly didn't care all that much for the possible insanity it could be inflicting upon them. At least they could have an end to it. Tenshi was stuck with this ever since they got their damn quirk.

The sounds of struggling did not make it past Koumorimei. It was hard to shut off just how he much he heard, with too much input at moments. All he could tell himself to make it any better was that it helped him see, and that the feedback would be useful for his master.
With the path paved to him due to the sounds, he figured he could make his way to it. Perhaps it was some poor soul who would be more than willing to come with him to his master. That would be quite helpful, and would shorten his trip considerably. Then he could go back and finally continue serving drinks to the members.
Tenshi watched—just watched—as the thug tried to rid of the voices, grip at its feathers, anything to make the pain stop. It had done that once upon a time, too. And it knew that such an action was useless. If anything, it would only slightly muffle the annoying sounds and annoy Tenshi beyond belief. It'd have to pry it's feathers back from the thug and that just didn't sound fun.
Though it happened more often than not. At this point, Tenshi just called it the 'housekeeping' of its crime fighting. And as the thug's hands got increasingly closer to grabbing a feather, Tenshi was half tempted to let them, but it didn't. Instead, the eye feather thing flew away. Tenshi knew it couldn't be used as a weapon. Not like the number 2 hero's quirk can. Must be nice, huh?
Tenshi reached above it's head, grabbing the halos, ready to finally end this god forsaken fight.
As Koumorimei walked closer, passing through the winding alleys with a grace he was positive he would have possessed before he knew his master, the sight became more clear. The figures became more distinct, less like random blobs in his mind. The mental map gave him a general gist of what he needed, slowing growing more detailed with every soft step.
The first thing he noticed was something painterly about the sight. It was similar to brief memories he had, of people roaming around museums, laughing at the paintings presented. Perhaps it was a dream. It was hard to say when all he could recall was the black and white map painted by echolocation.
It flinched. It heard the footsteps of whoever dared approach. Collecting its feathers back and therefore ending the torture of the man it was fighting, jumping into the air with a kind of practiced elegance before throwing one of its halos to the criminal trying to recover, the other to the new presence.
Quick as ever, the first halo landed around the criminal's throat, shrinking around it and effectively beginning to strangle the guy. It wouldn't kill—it was only meant to make the criminal unconscious. The other halo, headed towards this new source of life, seemed more for protection than anything, like it was trying to restrain the new life form before anything happened.
