The light blue puff nodded and smiled. He could go if he wanted to, she really didn’t mind. What she really wanted to do was ask Taban all about Likara and what she was like.

A quickly sketched out, polite bow, and he sets off, at a light run, the kind a person can keep up for miles and miles with practice.

And Taban hits Cybil upside the head for her muttered comment before nodding at Meta Knight.

"Thank you, the same luck goes out to you as well."

He looks over his shoulder for a moment, then turns back to them. "I should probably be going now. The other Star Warriors, and Galaxia especially, will be wondering if I stumbled into a pit of Demon Beasts or something. If you don't mind me taking your leave...?"

No, not at all, but still! He's killed thousands of Star Warriors as well, he'll just take you as another trophy. Besides Galacta and I are planning to freeze him over anyways...

Taban nods at this. He would use all in his power to help, as long as Cybil had the energy to keep that power continuous

"I'd quite like to see him try. I'd skewer him, if only in revenge for the others he's killed." A slightly unsettling grin. "I'm invincible against all but Nightmare himself with Galaxia in my hand."

He tilts his head agreeably at the two of them, though. "If you get to him first, good luck."

Cybil takes a sharp breath at his second statement. That was the same thing Galacta said and he got hurt!

You don't know how powerful Vahal really is. Seriously stay away he'll kill you if you engage him. That or critically injure you which is what he did to my friend Galacta.

Meta just raises an eyebrow at her. "And - then what? Simply let him continue running around, attacking others? No, I don't think that's a good idea."

"I'd presume your Galacta didn't have Galaxia with him." Oh, that sounded odd, with how similar the names were.... "While I, working with him, have managed to take out whole brigades of Demon Beasts at once."

Thanks a bunch, it'll really help us out so then we can become a team again! Vahal is bronze in color, he used to have a mask but it broke, so you can see his eyes are grey. Then he's got this long dragon like tail that's spiked along the length of it, the tip curled into a claw, and he has charred bone wings, don't ask me how he can fly...

"The missing students are Chris, Tyler, Tyson, Erik, Branden, Meru, Maru, Amber and Rose. Chris a dark ocean blue, Tyler forest green, Tyson a neon teal with three pirecings on his person. Erik a dark red, Branden a brighter red."

The twins Meru and Maru are two different shades of grey, Rose is a dark pink and Amber is a golden yellow.

That's... a lot to keep track of. But Meta Knight nods at each name, ingraining it in his memory. "Of course, beyond Vahal and perhaps Tyson, there are probably several other Star Warriors matching that description. But I'll see if I stumble upon them."

"And this Vahal -" A slightly menacing grin. "If he catches me with Galaxia nearby, he doesn't stand a chance."

But of course! Vahal is a traitor to the GSA and a threat to us all. When I was training with Alons and friends, Vahal under Nightmare’s influence and corruption killed everyone but me and my friends.

“You see his goal was to get Cybil and the students under his corruption to use them as soldiers at his dispersion. But when they resisted they were forced to seperate while being attacked by three Demon Beasts. They’re out there somewhere, Cybil just needs to find them.”

"Ah. A deserter." His gaze hardens. "We've had quite a few deserters recently - mostly Weapons, for some reason. And not just because there are many more Weapons than Wielders, so statistically speaking it'd be hard for it not to be so... but proportionately as well."

"I'll look out for them. What appearance does this Vahal have? And the lost students?"

"A coincidence nonetheless, but furthermore intriguing. Tell me, you wouldn't happen to know a warrior named Vahal?"

He probably doesn't Taban, but still, we still need to track him down.

"Vahal?" Normally, mention of a fellow Warrior should be a good thing, but the tone in which this is said...

"...no. Is this someone I should be keeping an eye out for?"

No, that couldn't be right. That was Galacta. Unless, he was from another universe like she was. The only diffrence was that hers was doomed, there was nothing she could do to save it. So that would explain some things...

I'm afraid I haven't, I do know someone who looks like that though. His name is Galacta, and a close friend of mine.

"Really." That's odd, the name sounds quite similar... maybe she'd just misheard it? But then, Galaxia would have told him if he'd met someone with a Weapon stuck in their sword form...

"A strange coincidence." As, while the Mirror World is known here, and by extension other universes, that doesn't tend to be the first thing that jumps to mind.

"Galaxia. That is a name I haven't heard in some time. So you are the wielder then."

I-I'm sorry, but who are you two talking about? Is this another Star Warrior sword kind of a deal? Is Galacia here?

"Of course. Though it's strange that you have heard of him, let alone some time ago. It's only recently his name became famous..."

He turns to Cybil. "Not at the moment, no, he's back at camp. Though... perhaps you may have seen him before? He quite enjoys flying about when I don't have need of him. Magenta puffball, yellow horns, wings... no?"

"It was what she, by means of Likara, wanted. She wanted me to be sealed away, until Cybil could pull me out on her own. And I am in deep remorse about her loss, I should've done something, but I knew that we would meet Cybil. Now, at last, here we are."

Cybil nodded, still a little awestruck about how this was possible. But perhaps Taban could now teach her a few tricks!

Likara. He'd assume another Star Warrior. Strange that the isolation hadn't gotten to him - other Star Warrior Wielders sometimes used that to punish unruly Weapons, though Meta had never really approved of it. Maybe since Taban had done it willingly, it had been more a suspended animation, or some sort of trance or sleep...?

Well. "As long as I don't have to worry about the same happening to my Galaxia..."
