This is an independent, private and highly selective roleplay blog for Erza Scarlet from the Fairy Tail series. HEAVILY CANON DIVERGENT to the point of looking like an original character, as I abhor her canon portrayal.

Low activity, as my main focus is on other blogs.

Fairy Tail was currently understaffed and overworked. And who better than the dependable poster girl to save the day, over and over. Though... It would, regrettably, garner an irking toll.

Notwithstanding her habitual stalwartness, clemency was a characteristic that had defined the S - class mage, throughout the years filled with eventful occurences.

Thence, it constantly brings her immense joy to behold her fellow comrades expressing any form of contemplations - worrisome or delightful - or sentimentialities towards her. Trustfulness was a connotation that was engraved deeply within those that wield the insignia of Fairy Tail; in regardance of her formerly distant persona, she manifested into someone that depicted hope. Whilst austerity was still an aspect that defined her entirety, those who who sought out solace, she was the epitome of it.

The impel to retort had expanded in inconceivable levels, yet exhorted, superseded with customary professionalism. ( at least, however it has remained within those who wield the insignia of Fairy Tail ) A deep inhalation took transpiration, followed momentarily afterwards with a deep exhalation, in an attempt to restrain any imbecilic behavioural traits from being exposed. Lieu, she unveiled with armored hands a piece of paper with a masculine face depicted.

Erza is not someone that considers herself as ' beautiful ' or ' attractive ' so everytime she gets complimented for her beauty, it always catches her off guard and even questions herself if she heard correctly. It's not that her confidence is on the bottom but she isn't the most confident either. It's more of a ' never really cared ' situation, since she is highly concentrated on her work as a mage, in which in certain occasions she deprives herself from the more humane things she could enjoy in her life.

Yes, her body has several scars that are easily visible, but that doesn't affect how she views herself. Those scars are a reminder of the battles she has survived. They may not look aesthetically pleasing, but they serve as a good reminder for what she has endured. So, her scars aren't the issue of course. It's the fact that never really sat down and cared for such thing.

Outside from all the armors she would usually wear, when it comes to actual attire she actually pays quite a lot of attention on what she wears. By no means she considers herself the most fashionable person to ever grace the lands of Magnolia, but she is attentive and chooses carefully what she would wear. It's one of those things that separates her from her duties as a mage and makes her feel more ' humane ', it's like an escapade in an essence. And naturally, she has her preferences.

So, if you don't see her wearing any of her standard armors, you will usually see her wearing buttoned shirts or turtlenecks and high - wasted skirts be in tight to her body or alpha line, boots either under or above her knees. She isn't really fond of wearing jewels ---- it is almost an inconvenience in case she has to fight and ends up destroying said jewels she might be wearing. The most you would catch her wearing in terms of jewelry it would be earrings.

In addition, when it comes to purchasing clothing, she would rather purchase from inexpensive stores rather than from expensive / high quality ones. She would rather save her extra money for something more meaningful, be it for herself or for her comrades --- or even for charity.

She's not keen on showing much skin, not because she is embarassed of her scars, ( if anything, she doesn't mind them nor what people think of her scars ) but to avoid as much as possible any potential injuries in case she engages in sudden combat.

Oh, and she loves small shoulder purses. It's convenient whenever she is outside of her ' duties ' as a mage, doesn't need to carry much stuff other than the essentials.

I've made it abudantly clear that my Erza doesn't rely that much on her requip magic, but rather, at her skillset in swordsmanship, since she has trained for a long time ceaselessly. She would rather have a few weapons at her disposal yet being able to wield them at maximal capacity rather than have an abudance of swords and not being able to utilize them completely. Her requip ability is an enhancement to her.

With that being said, the swords you would most likely see her using are either hand and a half swords ( also referred as bastard sword ) or spears. These are the type of weapons she feels most comfortable using -- the type of swords she had practiced the most with. Even when she requips full armors, she makes sure they are accompanied with swords that would fit. ( not in terms of an apparel, but in terms of usefulness )

Obviously, there will be exceptions, with benizakura being the most prominent one, which resembles of a regular katana. And she has in possession several swords that are different from what she is used to and would use them only when deemed absolutely necessary. Chances are mostly when she is left with no other options, knowing that wielding different swords it requires different types of techniques to execute.

So, in a summary; less swords, yet the more efficient she is.

In a particularity of a circumstance, she had bestowed her presence in unfamiliar locus, with the essence of being unwillingly hurled at aforementioned outlandish realm being at play, evidently sensed. A world vastly different from hers; its appearance felt almost ' contemporary ' contradicting the lands of Earthland. From the constructions, the various devices showcased at her view --- a feast for the eye, especially to those engulfed in curiosity, akin to a neverending waterfall.

However, that's not all. As a preternatural aura could be vividly sensed; malicious, thence she was in constant alertness for potential foes to strike. Feet would move in a speedily pattern, in order to avoid any propable harm to be caused towards innocent civilians, consequently finding temporary refuge in obscure alleys; abstained from the public eye. The causation was not a mere otherworldly sensation but rather, the appearance of a variety of grotesque figures, in preparedness to engage in combat, seemingly.

And so, she did.

Magic would generate from her right hand as a weapon reminiscent of a spear would appear. Now, firmly grasped by armored fingers, unhesitatingly she charged towards said enemies, slicing them with honned blade one by one; displaying herself wielding excellent mastery at swordsmanship. Her requip ability is an enhancement to the rawness of her strength, perpetually seeking amelioration.

Now, cold cobblestone thereunder her feet was smeared with the liquid substance of blood of the carcasses lying soulless. Pattern of respiration was a tad bit labored with inhalations and exhalations resonating the atmosphere. A few minor wounds would ornament her own structure, nothing of great concernment, knowing she had suffered worse, far more catastrophic than this. And yet, rest was mandatory in order to regain her strength at full capacity and mayhaps find a way to return back to her beloved homeland.

And thus, an unidentified voice echoed the atmosphere, prompting the inclination of her head to take place, just enough to find its source. An individual of a human form had entered her vision ---- he was no canonical citizen. If such was his reaction of the sight upon them, then he was someone that was adepted of occurences suchlike this. Even so, trust has yet to be earned, henceforth she retained her distance notwithstanding the words of assurance.

The element of surprise was engraved upon gallant mien the minute the sight of her comrade offered the beauteous plant at her. Calloused fingers would grasp at its stem ever so biddably, as nuances of chocolate would insepct aforementioned flower she was presented. Adorned with numerous petals, bathed in a miscellany of vivid mauve hues and a floral scent emitting, it was sufficiently enough to have a curvature surfacing upon her face, facing upwards. The indication of clemency was undisputable, in a union with gratefulness.

Now, attention was offered at the fellow mage she shared camaraderie with. In defiance of his past, Jellal had made enormous strides for the betterment of himself. And that's barely scratching the surface of actualness.

Commanding, stalwartness illustrated in equivalence of a gallant knight in constant alertness for the potentiality of engaging in combat. The element of surprise was illustrated upon facade of valor, upon the receival of such act by an unbeknown individual. The offering of a flower was the reason, as armored fingers would hold the plant with briskly nuanced petals, as tawny irises would scrutinize at its beauty. Bathed in vivid complexions of pink and a floral aroma emitting, the stalwartness incarnated would inspect in wonderment. A simple act of generosity ( hopefully --- you could never be trustful to anyone other than your own comrades ) yet it was enough to evoke a genuine convexity facing upwards, surfacing on her skin, resultantly indicating joviality.

Momentarily thereafter, attentiveness was directed at the individual who prompted such act of genuineness; an unrecognizable figure, de facto. Whilst the S - Class mage would retain sufficient alertness, engaging in an ingenuous discourse would cause no harm, inusmuch as she felt the necessity to profess her thankfulness.
