My last shift here at Air Transat flight to Cancun

I started my shift early for the first time today, since it's my last day as a trainee at Air Transat (12pm) | started my shift at the kiosk, assisting passengers with their baggage tags and boarding passes. I received a lot of compliments today, and it truly made me happy knowing they appreciated my help. After an hour, they moved me to the gate where I watched the boarding for the Cancun flight. They even let me go inside to take photos and videos - a little last-day privilege. ***

Then I went to Terminal 1 to get my purple RAIC. So happy to finally hold one! It's now on my record, and anytime I pursue aviation, they'll see l've already had experience with a purple RAIC

As my last day as a trainee here at Air Transat comes to an end, I know this isn't a goodbye - I'll see you all soon. Working in aviation, especially being part of Air Transat, has been a truly unforgettable and meaningful experience.

Flight to PUJ ✈️🌴

What a day. When I walked into the airport, I didn’t expect anything out of the ordinary. After security, I slipped into duty-free on my way to the gate, and the sales lady surprised me with a free chocolate. It sounds simple, but it was such a genuine, unexpected kindness — it set the tone for the whole day.

When I reached the gate, the Air Transat staff were so welcoming. I told them I was hoping to see my former professor, Sara Drysdale, who was rostered as one of the flight attendants flying to PUJ. A bit later, she texted me saying she had an emergency and had to give up her shift. I felt a little sad knowing we wouldn’t get that quick moment to reconnect, but I was grateful she still thought of me even in the middle of everything she had going on.

After completing our shift at the gate, they moved us over to the kiosk, where we stayed until the end of the day. Not the day I expected, but filled with small reminders that kindness still lives in the little moments — from free chocolates to thoughtful messages and friendly faces. Some days don’t go as planned, but they still leave you with something to carry.

Ending my 2/2 shift with tonight’s flight to Lisbon ✈️🇵🇹 and my heart feels so full. Before boarding, I had the chance to make an announcement for our passengers about the complimentary check-in baggage — small bags only and absolutely no fees. It may seem like a small detail, but for me, it was a meaningful moment. Every opportunity to help make someone’s travel experience smoother reminds me why I chose this path. Little acts of service, delivered with sincerity, can truly set the tone for a stress-free journey.

But the real highlight of my day came in the most unexpected way. I met Ms. Paula, a Flight Attendant who works closely with my former professor, Ms. Sarrah. It felt like the world suddenly became smaller — like everything I’ve been learning and working toward was coming full circle. Seeing someone connected to a mentor who shaped my early steps in aviation reminded me how deeply supportive this industry is. We may fly across continents, but somehow our paths always cross in the most meaningful ways.🥰

As a Flight Attendant in training, moments like this fuel my passion. Every announcement, every interaction, every connection reminds me that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. The flight simulation to Manchester today helped me see how close I am to realizing my dream. The instant I welcomed passengers with “Welcome aboard! ,” an inner flame ignited—it seemed that I had already joined the cabin crew, fulfilling my true purpose. That uncomplicated expression conveyed immense pride and enthusiasm, serving as a reminder that each step of this journey is worthwhile. 💙

I experienced a complete immersion in the responsibilities of a flight attendant in training, whether it was by observing procedures or assisting passengers. Every detail—the announcements, the collaboration, the professionalism—advanced me one step closer to my objective of becoming part of Air Transat. The flight today was going to Varadero, Cuba, and I was watching and helping from the ground as part of my training to become a flight attendant. Although I didn’t travel by plane, the day was still thrilling and significant!During the pre-boarding preparations, I assisted the crew by helping passengers with inquiries, checking documents, and making sure everything went smoothly prior to departure. It was intriguing to observe the cabin crew manage every aspect with accuracy and collaboration—from coordinating boarding to performing final safety checks. ✈️🛬

Every detail is important, and witnessing everything come together reminded me of the dedication required to ensure that each flight is safe and comfortable for passengers.Even while on the ground, I sensed a connection to the essence of the flight—witnessing the passengers’ smiles, their thrill for a trip to Cuba, and the crew’s professionalism was uplifting. 🌴☀️

It heightened my anticipation for the day I’ll don my uniform on board, welcoming passengers, making announcements, and ensuring a fantastic flight experience for all.With every day of training, I draw nearer to that aim. Another sky, another day. My second shift as a flight attendant in training began today, and we traveled to the stunning city of Lisbon, Portugal 🌵🇹. Despite the early call time and pre-flight anxiety, there's always something unique about waking up knowing you'll be spending the day above the clouds.✨

There was that familiar hum of routine and excitement in the cabin. We're always learning as trainees, from mastering safety demonstrations to confidently and gracefully handling service. Every encounter with a passenger serves as a tiny reminder of the reasons I chose this line of work: the stories, the smiles, and the feeling of sharing in someone else's journey.✨💙 This trip went more smoothly than my first, and I could see that I was becoming more at ease in the position—moving with intention, interacting with the crew, and resolving minor difficulties with composure. Observing my own development with every flight is such a fulfilling sensation. Behind the galley door, I noticed that I was grinning. Another flight went well, I learned something new, and I was able to cross another place off my expanding list.

Another journey to Athens means another opportunity to learn as a trainee flight attendant. ✈️🇬🇷. From managing passengers with care to maintaining composure in unforeseen circumstances, every trip teaches me something new. However, I was surprised to learn today that not all turbulence occurs in the atmosphere. Everything went smoothly during the boarding process: smiles, welcomes, safety inspections, and the anticipation of a new adventure. The other passengers were pleasant, and I was pleased with my personal development since my first training flight. However, in the middle of helping passengers and cleaning up, I discovered that my portable charger was gone. I looked everywhere, double-checked my belongings, and even asked around in private. I realized gradually that it had been taken.

I was angry at first. Especially throughout my training, I found it hard to conceive that something like this could occur on board. But rather than allowing it to spoil my day, I accepted it as a fact of life at work: you have to be calm, professional, and kind even when things don't go as planned. I reminded myself that the most important thing in aviation is poise under duress.❤️ I decided to let it go by the time we arrived in Athens. Although material possessions may be replaced, the experience of learning how to deal with obstacles in real life with maturity and patience is invaluable. I proudly walked off of the plane, having maintained my composure and attention to duty all the way through.🥹

Every flight helps me develop into the strong, flexible, and cheerful flight attendant I want to be, regardless of what occurs at 30,000 feet. 🌍💺✨

Getting on the plane headed to Athens was more than just another flight; it served as a reminder of why I enjoy working as a flight attendant. The Athens trip always carries a diverse range of passengers, including dreamers visiting Greece for the first time, families returning home, and adventurers seeking history. The plane was filled with that silent buzz of anticipation as we took off. As I walked down the aisles, I made sure that all of the passengers were safe and comfortable. I've come to adore the rhythm of caring, serenity, and connection that comes from serving meals, attending to specific requests, and checking in on passengers in mid-flight. Seeing the limitless expanse of clouds outside the window while knowing that hundreds of lives are in our care and that they can be safely transported to their destination is a very magical experience.❤️❤️

I was astounded by the sight of Athens as the captain announced our descent; the sun was shining on the ancient city, and the coastline was glittering. Pure gratitude took the place of exhaustion in that instant. I assisted people in disembarking as we touched down, and each "goodbye" and "thank you" reminded me of the power of little gestures at 30,000 feet.✨ Flying to Athens is a voyage across civilizations, tales, and feelings rather than just a flight of miles. I had an interesting and instructive experience at the gate of the Air Transat aircraft in Athens. My first experience helping with boarding made me realize how much cooperation and coordination are needed to guarantee a seamless airplane departure. I welcomed passengers cheerfully, assisted with boarding pass checks, and walked them through the correct boarding procedures as people started to assemble at the gate. Especially when interacting with people who have questions or particular concerns, I soon realized how important it is to be patient, communicate clearly, and keep a cheerful tone.❤️

I helped travelers and those in need of additional assistance as boarding began to ensure they were at ease and guided to the appropriate line. I learned the importance of professionalism and efficiency in aviation operations by seeing the gate agents handle seat modifications, luggage issues, and time.

It was satisfying to watch the Air Transat plane get ready for its flight to Athens because it made me realize how every little part adds up to a bigger system that links people all over the world. The thrilling first step into the world of aviation was Air Transat's orientation day, and it was not disappointing. It seemed unreal to enter the training center in uniform for the first time. Warm smiles, knowledgeable teachers, and a feeling of purpose greeted us and set the tone for the future.

Introductions and a summary of Air Transat's safety culture, beliefs, and what it really means to be a member of the cabin crew kicked off the day. The airline's history, aircraft, and routes were explained to us, along with the exacting requirements placed on each flight attendant.

We were given a sneak peak at the simulators and practical training areas we will be using throughout the facility visit. Additionally, we were given our timetables and training materials, which was a moment that brought everything to life.

The emphasis on teamwork, safety, and providing heartfelt service was what most impressed me. Orientation was about inspiration as much as it was about knowledge. I walked away feeling inspired, proud, and prepared to face the challenges that lay ahead. Even though this is just the beginning, I already feel like I'm getting closer to the stars. ✈️💙

Every day offers practical experience, ranging from medical scenarios and lunch service to evacuation and fire exercises. The goal? must remain composed, self-assured, and competent at 35,000 feet. It takes more than just smiling through turbulence to ensure the safety and comfort of every passenger and to be ready for anything.

Behind the well-maintained uniform lies commitment, self-control, and a strong love for people. This is change, not only training. Because flight attendants are prepared to serve, lead, defend, and care for passengers when the doors close and the engines scream. ✈️💼

I have more than just notebooks and pens in my flight attendant student backpack; It is filled with useful items. My instruction manual, the definitive resource for safety procedures, aircraft systems, and in-flight protocols, is at the center of it all. While a little planner helps me keep track of drills, tests, and uniform inspections, highlighters, sticky notes, and flashcards help me stay focused during extended study sessions. 

 In-flight necessities include a travel-sized hygiene pack, breath mints, a reusable water bottle, and a small first-aid kit because appearance is just as important as preparation. A snack or two gets me through the day, and a small flashlight and notepad are always handy for hands-on exercises. 

Everything has a function, from examining emergency exits to rehearsing passenger announcements. My backpack is a representation of preparedness and commitment, not only of the contents. Becoming a flight attendant requires being well-organized, flexible, and constantly ready. I am prepared to take off, both in the classroom and, soon, in the air, with my necessities packed and my mind clear. 👩‍✈️📖💼
