Warriors also need durability to avoid wasting steel and Foxbury’s potions can entirely circumvent durability requirements by adding infinite durability to the items. Wood was sub 10 FC for pages and pages until everyone realised they needed it and the price quintupled on the user market.
The developers allowed all pets to learn recipes from other villages so you can craft any item without belonging to the region if you have the recipe however I hope that they will also let people explore in other regions too.
But why this mechanism? They’re trying to force trading, social interaction and commerce like in an MMO. If people bring their friends in to try and help them with items that is more happy players and potentially more happy customers. In the end, costumes and potions just use the default lineart of the species and just as people prefer unconverteds on neopets or customs on aywas or accents on Flight Rising people will gravitate towards something which gives them completely unique lineart and colouring.
