is it really that weird to be.. very introverted and calm in your twenties. i constantly get judged by people my age for wanting to spend the entire day studying, writing, cleaning, reading, watching yt, making shit, whatever. they say i’m depriving myself of something, experiences, new people, ‘living my life’. they consider it wasting my time, my youth.. how aren’t you bored?? and i think they mean: you’re a boring person. and i’ve never been bored in my life

they tell me i’ll regret it when i’m old and sometimes i think they’re right. am i missing something? at 60 am i gonna love the choices i make now or am i gonna cry at the thought. but some days i think no no i love the way i am. i may be a little quiet and maybe yeah maybe i am boring to be around but i am not here to entertain others. i do not feel empty those lonely days but the opposite - im overwhelmed by something i did or learned today and it is a big big thing for me regardless of how others would perceive it. but i do wish others would stop seeing me as uncool, empty, lacking something as they make me believe in it myself some days :-)
