It bothers me how so many Gorillaz fans make fun of and mock us fans of color whenever we speak out about the racist attitudes this fanbase perpetuates, but they’ll still listen to Humanz, an album in which Damon Albarn and the collaborators are literally spoonfeeding the message that racism is bad to all of us. What will it take for you to treat us with respect and consider our thoughts when we say that something makes us uncomfortable or that it isn’t right?
