every time irving is even slightly mentioned or referenced i feel the white hot rage of a thousand suns and my brain smash cuts to the scene from the hex where lazarus shoots him in the chest and it sedates me for a little longer until he eventually comes up again. when i saw the line of dialogue referencing him in inscryption i lost my mind.
