Strange meeting

{✦} "Nevermind then." He sat down on the edge of Garaiya’s bed, and with a smirk, he suddenly pushed his master off to the ground. He chuckled. Acting so childish and being evil was fun.

There came a sudden yelp from him, making a very cold face at the demon.

"Despite your age, you sure are not grown up at all." He lost the will to befriend him now. Thinking anyone would understand him... it all seemed so foolish to think. "If you had your fun, either go to sleep, or eat, or something. But if you mock me again, I'll find the way to lock you back into that shrine."

{✦} "And now you have me too, so stop being so protective. I am not going to rip them to pieces. I could do that, no doubt about it. But I will not." Was he a little bit jealous? Well, maybe. He didn’t like if others got more attention than him. And they were just dolls in his eyes. An arrogant smile tilted the demon’s lips. Let’s annoy his Master a little, just to see how far he can go without getting hit or screamed at.

"Give me food, I am hungry."

"That's not the same." but he wouldn't tell what real purpose his dolls had actually. That was top secret.  "Probably there's some food left there in that room from what I cooked not long ago" yes, he was sleepy, thus forgetting to speak in his usual tone, instead just pointing towards the storage room where he cooked his meals as well. "Serve yourself. Just don't leave a mess."

{✦} "I am not sleepy. I am bored." The white-haired demon mumbled, then poked the little doll again. It was fun to pester them. "These things look interesting. And this one looks angry." He pointed at the one with the skull-face and bright yellow eyes.

"H-hey, stop teasing them..." he asked Ichirou whilst taking a hold of his dolls, petting them gently. "They are all I have." adding that to it all then going quiet. What was there to say, anyways.

{✦} This is weird. Ichirou gently poked one of the dolls curiously. He didn’t want to attack them or Garaiya, but was very interested in their reactions. Of course, he was prepared in case the dolls tried to kill him.

The doll moved back and took up a defensive position, glaring at the boy - as much as a doll could glare. Though due to this, Garaiya woke up, as if ready to fight, only relaxing once he saw that everything was just caused by the demon. "Why are you not sleeping?"

{✦} Few hours later, the white-haired boy jolted awake. He looked around, and sighed in relief as he realized he just had a nightmare. He glanced at the dolls next to his Master’s bed, raising his eyebrows. Ichirou crawled closer, sat down, and kept staring at them suspiciously. It felt like those dolls were alive and watching him silently.

The dolls kept floating around, being wary. Their main purpose was to be weapons after all, and to protect Garaiya. The soul particles in them at least gave them the life.

Garaiya had a soundless sleep, almost as if he was dead. His features had peace, not troubled with thoughts, unlike when he was awake, always thinking of many things.

{✦} Ichirou quickly fell asleep, not caring about Garaiya at all. Yes, he was a bit afraid of him, but he trusted his own power and believed that he could defend himself if the blue-haired boy tried to hurt him.

Seeing how easily he fell asleep, the blue-haired male guessed that the demon was really tired. Not questioning anything he took the place he originally prepared for his guest, falling asleep soon as well; though his dolls were staying, protecting him in his sleep.

{✦} "Alright…but if you do… I will not let you get away with it." Ichirou stood up and followed his Master to the bedroom, immediately jumping on a bed, which seemed to be comfortable. He didn’t care if that one was Garaiya’s.

"May the spirits give you a good rest, Ichirou. And have a good night sleep." even though it was, Garaiya didn't mention it. That was something that didn't really matter right now. First came the earning of trust.

{✦} "No, you did not. Not yet." He sat up. "But you will, because that’s what humans do. Am I right? I hope not." He noticed the change, but didn’t care about it. He just stared at Garaiya silently.

"I won't--- no, I mean-- we will not do any harm to you. We have no reason for that. Unless you have a grudge against us, though we must say the gods could see you were harmless so far." he soon noticed he forgot to speak in plural, again.

{✦} "I don’t need your help and pity." The demon glared at the blue-haired boy, then turned his back towards him. He didn’t trust him at all yet, but at the current moment he didn’t want to leave the library either. Ichirou thought his Master was just pretending to be nice. According to him, every human was evil.

"I'm not pitying you. I'm offering you humane environment. You're not an animal nor a flower." the fact that he forgot to talk plural about himself just showed how much he felt offended - and surprised all the same. "Let me help... I didn't hurt you, did I?"

{✦} Ichirou lay down and stared at the stars for a very long time before he could fall asleep. A few hours later, when it started to dawn, he woke up. He got up and went back to the library and lay down next to a bookshelf with a deep sigh.

Garaiya was still awake at that time, looking at the other curiously. "We can provide you a proper bed. You shouldn't lay there on the cold floor." he wasn't cold hearted. Of course he already prepared a place for him in the bedroom.

{✦} As soon as he finished, the demon stood up and walked out of the building without a word, to lie down in the grass, under the stars. He didn’t want to sleep inside where he couldn’t see the sky - it was a strange whim of him.

"H-hey, where are you going-..." Garaiya asked, but it seemed he didn't give a fuck care at all, the blue haired boy sighing and returning to his scroll with a pout. Right... he was still alone.

{✦} "Tsk…." Ichirou rolled his eyes, then sat down next to the tealet. He started to eat immediately with his hands - at that moment he didn’t care about manners. The white-haired demon ate up everything from his plate within minutes.

Even though he didn't expect the other to be gentle, the rough animal-type eating surely surprised him. Just like a predator... it was rather worrysome. "We presume you had a good apetite." he huffed whilst taking a sip from his green tea. Keeping the cool.

{✦} The young demon ignored the question and sniffed in the air. His pupils dilated when he smelled meat. No doubt about it, he was hungry. He hadn’t eaten proper food for a long time. "I will join. Give me some food." He said in a toneless voice, but he stared the the other demandingly.

"Put away that tone. We are not some scum you can treat as you wish" the blue haired shortie dared to glare at him for that, shifting away in the sofa to give the demon some space.

{✦} The white-haired boy followed him for awhile, but when something interesting caught his eyes, he simply just disappeared. He wandered around in the woods, searching for some food. When he realized it is impossible to find edible things in a forest, Ichirou gave up and went after Garaiya. The scent of his Master was still strong, so he easily found the library. It was night when he arrived back there, though.

"You have returned. Found anything suspicious perhaps?" Garaiya questioned him, feeling the other's presence from a mile away. It was rather disturbing, but he knew the others might not even suspect this. He himself though had special abilities... and of course he was the only one with these now. "We've prepared some tea with a meal. You might join, if you want."

{✦} “Yes, Master. Anything you wish.” Ichirou smiled and stepped next to Garaiya. Of course, he was already planning on escaping at night. He wanted to see the world, because he had never been anywhere else than that shrine. His thirst of adventure was the one of a curious child’s.

"Okay. We will take back ourselves for a rest in the library now. You may come, if you wish, but you are not bound to. Just beware not to cause any trouble." the ninja turned around quickly, running back from the strange fields towards his library.

{✦} "I’m just a slave, so why not?" He said, but, the truth was that he wasn’t negative about himself at all. He was just a great actor, and this way he made himself look more innocent and harmless. "I was born 152 years ago. You may think I am young, but I can assure you that I have a lot of experience."

"You're not just a slave..." Garaiya frowned, sighing. Well, he was young, measured to demon ages, but otherwise he was a lot older than himself. "So you will come with us now and be our right hand?"
