How empowered we felt standing up for ourselves. How touched we were that other groups were standing for us. How much hope it gave us. The true deep joy of actually getting something done! That feeling was a gift to help us plow throw the challenges we will be facing in the future with dignity, strength, and love. Remember how good it felt to high five a stranger because you knew you were on the same team. Remember how good it felt to join voices with one another. And clap. And dance. And cry. And yell. And celebrate. Remember how good it felt so you will continue showing up for that feeling. Get hungry for it. Put yourself in the position to have that feeling again.
