As we head to our Inn we see a woman beckoning us in to her home. Her name is ....... and she greets us warmly offering us tea. Tea, an unusual thing in such a place. She says you have been through much looking at the Messenger. We ask her about protectors? She explains protectors are along forgotten thing here in Theand. Generally a protection spell keeps one safe. However being under the watchful eye of a deity or belonging to a specific deity is enough. She believes in our journey we shall have to make that decent to the underworld. Yes not something the group has talked about because it has not been something we thought was needed. Now this is just her opinion but it is something we should consider. We have these strange visions of Dante's trip through the inferno running through our heads. Followers of this level you should consider reading the "Inferno" as well as reading the "Golden Ass". The Messenger can't remember if I have suggested this before. We ask her about the Isle of Apples?She says the Ilse of Apples are group of Priestesses who are know to be way way back in the mountains possibly not even of this world(Theand).

The few who climbed the mountain to the Temple in the sky return and head to the river for a refreshing dip.

They explained to the other that the person in the temple suggested the long journey to the far reaches of Theand to find the the one who is call Sedu. There you might find a protector. But it was said that do not expect to make this journey with the item. Baffled as to what that item is. Also spoken was to go back and review what we should already know. They left the Temple very confused.

We should already know? "what"? I mean there is a lot I should know the messengers been at this for a couple of years now. Unfortunately I probably forgot most at this point. Where to even start, Gaia maybe?

Inside the Tablet House with its many sections on Knowledge the remaining group digs in There they are joined by the Messenger who learns the group is looking for a Protector. He asks why? The looks could have brought house down. After an explanation his response was "Oh". So what have we found?

The out reaches of Theand can be somewhat of a mystery. So with what the group was given in Umma , Which doesn't seem to be a whole lot. A map is found. Some one goes into a section on mythology and researches Gods & Goddesses. Another goes into a section on rituals. Another area my be Spiritual Guides.

A most energetic endeavor to under take for the ill prepared.

Too the Temple

A trip to the local temple is sure to be a breath taker with its location and views. If you are wishing to make the climb to the temple you must go back past the edge of town where you first entered. Coming up the hill on the right now left going down to the gate you will see a path which heads of towards a canyon and rock face of the mountain. This is where the path begins and starts gaining elevation almost right away. Once leaving the grassy area the rock trail begins. Here the trail becomes steeper . You shall be gaining roughly 500 ft in elevation to a very beautiful rock bridge, which crosses a stream and continues on a rocky trail up with switch backs. Eventually it will lead you back to the stream upon which you cross the stream on a masterfully built rock bridge. If you pause on the bridge is a view of the waterfall and is where you see where the water comes from as it comes over the cliff and drops into a pool. It beautifully continues under the bridge and disappears do the canyon. The trail continues a bit before it hugs the rock face and seem quite scary to the point of this seems a bit much being open and narrow. You’ll have that one hand on the rock face the whole way. Then another switchback at which the steps begin. This is where inside your head a voice is screaming, Who the hell made this trail. Let me assure you the steps and the rock were made for each other. What the hell does that mean? Keep going and take note your thighs are beginning to burn from this work out. Once you get past all the irregular rocks and cliff face it opens into a valley. You thought this was the top? Hardly but the going is easier. You see another waterfall at the end of this short valley. There at the end of the valley you see an entrance to a cave. The trail leads right to the entrance of the cave. Once inside you discover its not a cave but a tunnel which after about 30 yrds comes out on the other side then makes a sharp right turn and heads up to what looks like a plateau. Once to this point you will make a U-turn even though another trail leads straight. Continue up and soon you will see the temple perched at the top.

Its August 1st

A day of celebration for another important day on our lunar calendar. August 1st marks the half way point between the Summer Solstice and the Fall Equinox. Yes the daylight is leaving us. Celebration is our cause on this day which is known as Lughnasadh. Celebrates first harvests and the continuing harvests but also the God Lugh which we should spend time on later.

What has the Messenger harvested this year? New followers for one. More knowledge because I wish to make my knowledge grow. The Messenger wishes to make your knowledge grow. But You followers should build, build your foundations. Build up to the sky on the wealth of knowledge we can have if we would choose this path. Do not expect it to be just handed to you.

The Shaman

Its a definitely a calling. Matters not whether you are male or female. You must loose your patriarchal attitude to become. You would also have to understand that your journey's are to another dimension. The messenger thinks the word dimension is inaccurate. Place is not descriptive enough. Inside is better, but inside what? YOU!

A better word is realm.

Continue Journey

The Messenger is taken to the clinic in Theand and kept, for a day. The shaman performs a cermony on him when takes away the mask which did not allow him to function properly. He remember very little of his experience up until the time eh awoke in the clinic in Umma. He was released the next day.

Discussion of the experience resumed while on the trail. I saw a beautiful woman with whom I wished very much to engage in a sexual experience with. To see the bliss all around me was incredible. If I could have touched anything it all would have expanded exponentially.

Back in Theand the messenger was given people in the clinic to resume his recovery. The group meets up with Mina from the Council again. MIna says the Messenger will be well cared for. The Shaman was expected to arrive today. The group finds accommodations and meets at "Off the Cliff Pizza for food and the view of the valley. Though not necessarily happy to be back in Theand the view is uplifting from where they sat.

The group heads back to Theand with the Messenger in tow. Literally as he wants to stop and look at everything. The group can't wait to hand him off upon arriving in Theand.

The group is unsure of a return at this point. The messenger has to be watched at this point as he is unable to complete any task like packing. Talk among the group members is to return to the Tablet House to find information on finding a Protector and continuing the journey.

As the group is sitting around the table discussing the experience the Messenger who has been silent thus far look up and see a woman staring at him. She smiles and beckons. The Messenger excuses himself say something about finding a bathroom and disappears. The woman meets him away from sight of everyone else and they speak. She hands him an object and they depart. The Messenger returns to the group and sits down.
