Yahoo! We are finally having some much-needed rain here in Calgary, Alberta today. Right now the temperature is 10 C but feels like 8 C, its a huge difference from the 30 C we had yesterday and the day before. I leaped out of bed this morning hearing the rain, and immediately opened my bedroom and kitchen window hoping for that clean crisp rain fresh scent to come in, but instead it smelled like a combination of wet cigarette butts, a cigarette that was just put out in a ashtray, a campfire that was just put out, and someone smoking beside my window. The smell is absolutely horrible. The smoke is still really thick and the air quality is still very high. Don't get me wrong the rain is great to have, and I hope it helps clear away some of this smoke. As it is literally killing me. I can hardly breathe; my nose burns, my throat and ears are constantly irritated. My Claritin isn’t really working so I bought Flonase nose spray last night. Hoping with both of them it will give me some relief. I am going to the Calgary Stampeders Football game tomorrow afternoon, and I am really debating on buying a mask. So I am able to breathe better. I hope and pray this rain is helping put out some of the BC fires. God Bless Everyone who is helping try to put the fires out, and those families that stayed to help save there farms, livestock and homes. Try and have a great day everyone. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bm38qbEAIvj/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=dhnxjz2cii6d
