Actually one of my favorite headcanons is that the reason Hayden hates Ilya is when they were all rookies he tried to befriend Ilya but Ilya was having a bad day and was super fucking rude/dismissive of Hayden so now Hayden doesn’t want him in his life. But Ilya doesn’t remember this encounter at all and dislikes how close Hayden is to Shane. So Ilya’s chirps and everything is always worse to Hayden and Hayden thinks it’s in response to him trying to be friends 10 years ago.
