travel log #81: I met up with Nero in the Mist. I could not miss him by the obvious shine of his red armor. He wondered what I was doing and I said I was on my way to Limsa Lominsa. He needed a change of clothes he said, before heading out on “our” journey? What happened to his Ironworks gear? Or that outlandish outfit. Those suited him nicely after all.

--- : Continuing on, I lost the match. I have never lost before! In my grief, Nero suggested I play something to get my mind off it. Well. More like demand. This was unexpected of him and... sweet of him, really I felt my heart race. He forced me to play one of those crane games.

travel log #65: Unfortunately I had a game in the Gold Saucer. Call it a challenge that I couldn’t refuse. I hesitantly asked Nero if he would accompany me first before we start on our travels. I feared he would refuse and leave but shockingly... he wanted to tag along. With Nero around, it was... quite distracting. I was struggling. Never have I struggled in a game of Lord of Verminion before.

travel log #62: I honestly didn’t expect to see him so soon after the Omega event. He looks well. I wanted to ask him about the Ironworks but he went on talking about something he was looking for. It was my mistake for not paying attention to what he was saying. His voice was music and distracting. He spoke until nightfall.

travel log #61: I went back to Gridania for a bit of familiarity from the eastern lands and guess who I found. Nero. Yes. Nero. I could not hold my excitement. These pages could not even begin to hold the words of how I felt. Before I knew it, he requested my assistance as some kind of “guide” around Eorzea. Surely he managed to get around on his own… Why does he need me? I am no Warrior of Light. I will not question it. I want him to trust me. Perhaps he is searching for something.

One of my first thoughts while examining this was: I wonder how many Allagan tomes I’d have to pay to take him out on a date?

Sorry, I’ve been playing too many gacha games with summer versions of their characters. XD

How many Allagan tomestones? Well, that’s a multi-tiered question. For example, if you somehow manage to dig up one of the Rota/IIα-Prototype models in fair condition, that has to be good for at least one full length date (e.g., dinner, dancing or the cinema, etc.). And if it’s still got all four bit screws or a clear mag-lens, I’ll even let you cop a feel.
