Garniers is now an archive!
Three years ago, I created this blog to give roleplaying one last shot, and that one last shot transformed into the most unexpected—and yet, most rewarding—experience I got to have in the roleplay community. Sharing my work with you guys has been a delight, and to say this experience has exceeded my expectations feels like an understatement, but after much thought and consideration, I've decided to close this particular chapter of my life with the last remaining element there was to it—which was Garniers.
I said on multiple occasions that I was an island and my presence in this community was untethered, but that's not true. I've had the opportunity to have the most amazing customers and bond with the most amazing content creators, that's something I won't take for granted and will be taking with me, now that I've come to terms with this blog and I being on different points of space and time. You have been part of one of the most chaotic and enlightening points of my life, and your presence is greatly appreciated. I hope you know that.
Garniers will stay as it is, themes and theme packages, so you don't have to worry about those going everywhere. I just won't be updating this blog further or releasing new themes. I'm still a web and graphic designer, and old habits die hard, especially when you're so fond of them, but this is where Garniers leaves you.
And to those content creators who have just started following me, because I still get new followers somewhat regularly, know I'm so happy to see you and stoked over the path ahead of you! This community is what it is for people like you putting in the work, polishing a skill, and sharing your work with others despite how nerve-wracking it might be. If there's anything you might want to take away from this dissertation of a post, take this:
Making themes on this blog made me very, very happy.
Over and out, — G. ♥
