Wow so many memories on this blog :’-)

I never really left Tumblr but ive been mostly a lurker and just reblog things on @undreblog and @artcollectingblog but havent posted my own art in I don’t know many years... I wonder if any of my followers who are still active will remember me haha

Update is I’m 26 now and have been doing more music focused stuff for the last number of years but getting back into visual art and drawing stuff, and missed when I used to post here! Tumblr is the best social media esp positive artist community wise 🥺 Feels so nice to be getting back into it

I drew this after having a really nice hang out with an artist friend who i admire in how they have a very open heart and soul, and expressing themselves through music is a very natural and enjoyable process for them. I felt a lot of openness and emotional safety after being around them and wanted to help myself remember the feeling. I was thinking about how I want to work on letting my inner heart out more and it feeling safe, what that looked like in my mind, and have also been inspired by celtic swirls while researching my family history recently. : )
