Garret ran a hand through his messy hair as he made his way to Megan's dorm room. He was dressed in an oversized sweatshirt and track sweats but he didn't want to keep Megan waiting, knowing how sad she must be right now. He'd never been the best at comforting people but he figured the chocolate he was carrying had to help--maybe she could stuff her face while he rambled on about how death is something that's unavoidable, that her grandmother in a better place now? Or maybe he could just stare at her while she ate. In all honesty he hadn't thought that far, but he knew he couldn't leave one of the happiest, most beautiful girls alone when she really needed him. Once he reached her dorm room, he knocked on it and waited for her to answer.
