"I don’t know, but anything is possible." Apple couldn’t help but smile over at him and leaning back on the seat. "Okay," she responded. "I’m just excited, that’s all." Apple leaned on his shoulder and sighed. "Is it gonna hurt?" she asked, thinking about the pain that was to come out of this. Although it was worth it. What she couldn’t get out of her head is that what if her parents noticed before she turned eighteen. She shook off the thought and decided to live in the moment because she was next to Blake now and nothing was better than that.

"Excited it good," He nodded. "Stay excited." When Apple asked about the pain, he stifled a laugh. Of course it would hurt like hell, but he wasn't about to tell her that. "Nah, it won't be so bad. Plus, you're tough. Remember when Angel stabbed you with a knife? It won't be nearly as awful." As the taxi slowed down, he recognized the strip of buildings they were approaching. "Hell yeah! We're here." He unbuckled his seat belt excitedly before the taxi even stopped. Blake handed the driver some cash before scooting over and opening the door. He hopped out and pulled Apple along with him. In front of them stood a slightly run-down plaza. There was a sketchy grocery store, a thrift shop, some place selling plus size clothing, a Chinese food takeout restaurant, and right there on the end was what he'd been looking for, the tiny tattoo parlor.

Apple watched the scenery passing by from the car’s window, it was different from the town she was used to. She glanced over at Blake when she felt him squeeze her hand and smiled, “Me neither.” she sighed. Apple had to admit, she was nervous. She was just about to get her first tattoo, on her birthday, a matching one with her boyfriend too. How can you not be nervous about that? Apple nodded her head, “Yea, I really hope it turns out well.” she told him. She didn’t want to end up with a tattoo not small enough for her parents to notice, she could just imagine their reaction right now. “Are we there yet?” the now seventeen year old said excitedly.

"It'll turn out perfectly," He assured her. "How can they possibly mess up a tiny little infinity sign?" They'd decided on something simple. In fact, if his old buddy was still as fond of him as he used to be, Blake might be able to convince Jared to do it for them free. Or at least wave some of the fees. "We're almost there!" He promised and he played with her fingers absent-mindedly. "Be patient." Blake realized that Apple's parents weren't the only ones that couldn't find out about today. His parents would be livid if they knew he came back home and didn't drop by to at least say hi. But he didn't want to go back to that house. It was so full of bad memories, and he didn't want his life with Apple to intertwine with them.
