                   “ i know this is gonna sound like a total over-exaggeration and i know this, but i’m gonna go ahead and say it anyway. the worst thing ever is when you have a song stuck in your head and you CAN’T get it out, no matter what. ” cece huffed out a dramatic sigh, leaning her head back and stretching her arms up briefly. “ you know, so like–you have to keep listening to it, but that only makes it worse. so what’s the trick ?? how do you get the song–unstuck ?? ” she blinked a few times as she met the other’s gaze. “ any and all solutions are appreciated. ”

“my mom used to always tell me to just keep humming and singing it until it goes away. which never made any sense to me, but it worked, usually. it’s kinda like you sing it so much it gets unstuck? that might not make any sense but it’s worth a try.” he shrugged, “what song is it?”

Seeing a familiar face caused a smile to tug at her lips. “Yeah I definitely needed some air but it was fun.” As it always was. Music is her passion and getting to perform always made her happy. “Thank you, I’m glad you liked it and that you came to see it.” Seeing a friend at her concert only served to make the singer happier.

he grinned. “do you get nervous before performances? i know some people that don’t get nervous like, at all. which is crazy to me. you didn’t perform like you were nervous! but you never know.”

               elodie let out a soft laugh at the male’s suggestion before shaking her head and going back to sipping at her black coffee. it was too hot, but the burn as it went down her throat was almost pleasant. “i’d rather not be known for a stunt like that, thanks. i’d rather they think i’m clueless to their presence than have that.” she hummed. “though, i don’t think anyone with in fifteen miles would go without noticing them. they’re not subtle. but hey, maybe they’re just going to talk about you. they could do a feature all about how you eat your muffin.”

garret smiled. “i understand. although i think thats an awesome thing to be known for.” he shrugged, setting his crumby napkin onto his plate. “i guess you’re right! they could be planning a feature on either of us. an entire feature about how i eat my muffin, huh? i’d read that.” he grinned taking a swig of his water, with lemon, of course. “probably about how much of a messy eater i am.” he motioned down to to the table. “you see this? the crumbiest muffin i’ve ever eaten. and i eat alot of muffins.”

      A LAZY day off had been spent mostly in bed, legs getting tangled in the blankets heaped on the mattress. movies on netflix were rotating in and out of the queue; callie’s attention to them waned as the afternoon passed and faded into evening. fingers tapped rapidly on her phone as she flicked between twitter and a conversation with GARRET, who she was now heading to see. the actress sat in the uber dressed in a pair of comfortable short and flowy floral printed shorts and grey t-shirt, feet tapping the floor of the vehicle with the beat of the pop song on the radio. as they neared garret’s address ( which was less familiar to callie than, admittedly, she would like it to be. it had been a while since the pair had hung out. too long. ) she tapped out a message that read ‘pullin uuup’ and hit send just before disembarking from the vehicle with a warm thank you to the driver. callie ambled her way up to the door, knocking lightly. “task rabbit here to yell at you about parks and recreation, pry a remote from your hands, and help tidying.” a grin spread across her face as the door opened and revealed the familiar face. “hey, you. forget what i look like?” @garretffs

he had scrubbed the floors and cleaned the blinds, but that was about as much as garret could tackle. he was a bit lazy when it came to cleaning, so that, mixed with his always messy room, wasn’t a very good mix. his parents were coming for a visit later that night, and he knew theyd be disappointed if they saw the current state of his flat. Garret might be famous, but his parents were still parents; and there was absolutely nothing he could do to change that. his phone buzzed in the pockets of his maroon colored jeans, and he quickly fished it out of his pocket, instantly smiling when he saw callies name on his lockscreen. he smoothed out any wrinkles on his navy blue shirt, and waited for the doorbell to ring. he was excited to see callie, it had been far, far too long, and he had missed her quite a bit. a knock one his door and familiar voice awoke him from his thoughts, and he was up on his feet instantly, swinging the door open perhaps a bit too fast. “of course not. i stalk your Instagram like, every night, callie. great selfies, by the way.” he joked with a grin, beckoning the girl inside. once she was in and the door was closed, he opened his mouth to speak. “hey, c’mere!” he breathed out, opening his arms wide and pulling the girl into a hug. “i hope you didn’t forget how much of a hugger i am after all those years. that never changed.”

❝i promised i’d tone down on my issues. i don’t think this addiction is that bad,❞ she scoffed, placing a hand over her chest in mock-offense. valeria’s eyebrows furrowed.  ❝honestly, i don’t even know how to fathom the concept of drinking balls of hair gels. that sounds disgusting, and i can’t believe you’d ever say that about bubble tea. ❞

“you’re putting your life at risk, valeria. you can’t go on this way, if you want to stay alive.” he grins, doing his best not to let out any type of laugh, in order to stay serious. “i mean, i haven’t done it but....that’s what i imagine it’s like. i guess i just prefer my tea bubbleless.”

“no, no, i get that. i just, i feel complicated about others profiting from other’s misfortunes?” alessandra crinkled her nose at the thought. “if anyone sees me eating less than a salad, with one burger, i’ve gained ten pounds in the media’s eyes. but that’s a really really important reminder. perspective. we are lucky to do this job, to entertain and make people happy, inspired.” the actress muttered with a soft smile. those monthly checks to her father, her mother’s rehab stints and recovery doctors (no matter how unsuccessful), kept her mother off the streets. the job she did. “as best as one can.”

he nods his head. “im thankful that that doesn’t usually apply to me. y’know, being a dude and all. what i eat and wear doesn’t seem to effect me that much, paparazzi wise. but still, i can’t imagine that being any fun.” he shrugs, wishing he could relate but knowing he couldn’t. “i think alot of this business is perspective. i mean, it’s everything, really. there’s always, always gonna be somebody who does something they shouldn’t.” he shrugs. “alot of it is just like, trying to be positive. dunno’, thats just what i tell myself, at least.”

“I understand that filming started a few days ago and it’s part of the job but, I just, I just wish the paparazzi would just, stop.” Alessandra muttered, running a tired hand through her hair. “I’m just, I’m so grateful, blessed for all of the opportunities with promoting my music and everything, I just need sometime to rest. A day where Dave from People Magazine isn’t screaming at me that I look tired when I leave gym, asking about my workout attire.” The young woman said, a sad smile passing her lips. “But, that’s showbiz, I guess…”

garret listened along sympathetically, nodding his head in understanding. “that,” he spoke, pausing a bit to collect his thoughts, “is a feeling i get all too frequently.” he spoke his words softly, his face gentle. he was lucky, being a male in the industry. males didn’t have their looks commented on nearly enough as the ladies did. he could go to the gym and usually walk out without too much of a hassle, and not a single comment about his attire. “it sucks, it really, really does. i usually try to remind myself that even though its beyond bloody annoying, the pictures of me eating my mcdonalds in my car they take is somebodies job...so at least im helping out them and their families..i think.” he knew it was stupid, but that was all he could do sometimes. especially with it being something he really seemed to struggle with sometimes. “staying positive, and stuff.”

“i think it might actually be my new favourite picture of me. so candid, right?” ash laughed, hiding his face behind the newspaper for a few moments before looking back at garret. “from what i can piece together there were tequila shots. lots of tequila shots.” ash had only managed to get out of bed a little while ago– after ten missed calls from his publicist and mother. “apparently i was spread out in a booth fast asleep, and it took my friends ages to wake me up because i was so drunk and they were getting worried so they called security to help.” 

garret nodded his head, a slight grin on his face as he listened along. “tequila will certainly do that!” he chuckled, “hey, at least you didn’t do anything stupid! like smash all the glasses or insult the bartender. that could of been bad. that could of really gotten you in trouble!”

“she was probably just being a little cranky. whenever i go, she always gives me extra samples . once it was toward the end of the day and she gave me the entire tray. I walked out with an entire tray of Mange Tout, which around these parts, is what you silly Americans call snap peas. i know, i know you did. I just have a super hard time imagining that tasting good? but hey, i’ll try it. bring it to the gym with ya’ next time. i’ll gladly be your taste-testing guinea pig. oh my god brynn, there’s a peach pie, that is so good. i buy like three every time i go. and always end up giving them away to my mom, ‘cause i remember there not good for you, but still. i highly recommend.

what's your most memorable fan experience?

once this adorable little girl came up to me with a picture she had drawn of the two of us. well not really me, more Oliver my character, but it was still such an awesome moment. it’s still on my fridge to this day.
