Zombie was on many of my mixdiscs back in the day. I remember being 20, living on my own still being a new thing for me, sitting in Michelangelo's Workshop café in Calgary, a very early 90's place with sofas instead of chairs and grand trunks instead of tables, where on a Sunday I'd drink coffee and smoke cigarettes and write horrible poetry. I recall hearing Linger while writing and it instantly brought me back to high-school in Winnipeg. All this sadness I had been carrying around about my school life and home life just came pouring out. I wish I still had those journals.
