Oxenfree
I think Oxenfree is an amazing game. It’s narrative and dialogue driven, with a lot of player choice. They managed to take the cliché premise of teenagers encountering the supernatural in an abandoned island military base and make it feel fresh. The mechanics are very simple but the art style and soundtrack are wonderful. More creepy than outright horror with a few jump scares along the way. I credit it with giving me a creative kick in the pants. It’s recently had an update with additional content. I also can’t wait to see what happens when my fellow ARG participants visit the designated real world location on the 11th. Currently half price on GOG: https://www.gog.com/game/oxenfree
