          there was a time when belle would have  TENSED  at his touch—  a  brief  time,  before she got to  know  adam for who he was beneath his claws and fangs.  but now,  it was a source of  COMFORT,  a warmth she so  gladly  leaned into.  with a slow,  content sigh,  she leaned in closer to him,  a loving smile lifting her cheeks,  brown hues squinting the tiniest bit from the expression.  torture  was probably accurate—  in fact,  it was what she felt before she’d even  met  him,  trapped in villeneuve,  awaiting  ADVENTURE.  he had shown her a  freedom  she’d never known.  it was the  freedom  she’d always  longed.  “ you were  ALWAYS  worthy of me, ”  she assured him,  a delicate hand coming up to caress his cheek.  “ you just didn’t know that part of yourself yet,  and now you’ve proved the  both  of us wrong. ”
