This phone pic doesn't look too bad on tumblr so I'll post it here. Working on a new Rui cg, it's so hot my computer keeps crashing this is the third time I had to draw the eyes. This one's background is a little more complete than others, but drawing leaves is too repetitive.

I’m stealing internet right now, so I’m making a small post on what I have so far on Joe and Sugane’s sprites so far.

I apologize about Joe’s shirt every time I give him a real one it doesn’t look right so this is the only one that hasn’t gotten deleted yet.

@nintles I do sometimes on my main blog, unfortunately tumblr messes with my phones camera quality really badly so its more of a pixelated rainbow than actual picture details. I tried uploading pictures of Joe's sprite I've been working on with his hair down and up, but with the distortion after uploading it to tumblr you couldn't really see anything.

Breaking radio silence with a quick question: Ponytail Joe or Hairbun Joe?

Plot shift + Real Introduction

Hey there! I realized I never really introduced myself as a person and thought now would be a good time to do so along with some new plot changes that are happening! It’s all under the cut.

So hey, I’m the GatchaGame dev, you can just call me Dev for now! I’m 20 years old from the pacific northwest in the United States. I obviously really love Gatchaman Crowds, but I’m also a fan of games in general, so of course I wanted to combine them.

Speaking of, after some thought and rewatching Insight so I could make voice acting notes for Tsubasa, I realized my plot needed some tweaking.

I had this game as a general idea for probably two years now, I started doing some sketches back then, but only now am I really doing anything with it. This began back when a second season seemed like wistful thinking and I was left curious with how Rui might interact with others as a new Gatcha team member. Rui was my favorite character and I wanted them to have a happy ending.

But now we have Insight! So there’s not really a point, not unless I switched the POV to Tsubasa perhaps to smooth over that one “misstep” she made, but that wouldn’t make for something too exciting, in my opinion, it’d be three conversations at most.

With that in mind, I’m changing gears a bit, to something most of you can probably get behind. 

It’s a little adventurous to do this solo and I might need some help, but I’m hoping to make this a bit more into a femme dating simulator!

Starring Hajime you can form relationships platonic and romantic, maybe even nudging other members into their own romances.

This is more of an idea at this point, I’m going to have to go back a lot into what’s been written already to see what can be salvaged and if this is something I can do/people want, but I think it’s a good direction for the project to go.

We’ll see!

I got bored of working on Hajime forever so I started Utsutsu!

I decided that I’m probably going to use my usual drawing style for the sprites and I started on Hajime since she’s the most “figured out” so far! A bunch of different outfits means to save time I gotta make a base that will work for all the outfits.

Time to keep rendering and figure a little more on how I want to do the faces to keep them on separate layers for the emotes.

First post I’m going to release into the general tag!

Right now I’m working on test sketches for Hajimes sprite.

I’ve done a few as a joke before, but they didn’t have expressions so I’m trying my best to figure a bunch out! For now, here’s her basic smile and a sort of “pout” of course with her scissor motif.
