i first played splatoon the last time we had an eclipse actually, right before splat2 came out. i was just messing around in hero mode on someone else's account, so i never experienced online... and now it's gone, officially at least. honestly i still hope i get to play it via pretendo or something in the future.

#hopefully wiiu hacking will still be accessible in some manner if i manage to get my hands on one #but i've only hacked a 3ds so idk how it works with that console

#i haven't really thought about it tbh. hm #i think... that the blood doesn't have its own colour.#we see inkfish reduce themselves to fluid organs and all and we only see the ink colour and never any others #so that would suggest it either has no innate colour bc of its composition so it doesn't compete with the ink colour #or it independently changes colour but always matches. which sounds wildly inefficient biologicially speaking.#because their physical forms are not that stable i think in the case of an injury you'd see them appear to be bleeding their ink colour #bc the ink gets mixed into everything #but it's technically clear when isolated #anyways! if we didn't see them reduce themselves to liquid i would guess blue like their ancestors #so my answer is all three depending on how realistic or technical you wanna get

ok full disclosure i picked team guitar because of the victory emote you can have pretending to jam out on a brella. also guitar is the instrument i've come closest to playing but we aren't going for realism here! the silliness is more important to me.

this does mean i have to play brella the whole time lest i forsake my gimmick though.

#i like the undercover but me and the other brella types aren't exactly friends yet #and i like being able to swap weapons all the time. oh well #splatoon

#i saw posts about how bad cruel sisyphian was before i played it and ended up like ??? that was it? coverage was so much worse
