Hello friends. I’m alive. I’m back. Creeping into your feed to remind you all what I look like (much longer hair now). I took a hiatus from Instagram as many other priorities needed my attention. Art has taken a bit of a back seat for a good chunk of this past year as I worked as a paraprofessional, then organized with @justice4siham, then started grad school and now co-teaching 6th grade history, but its always been in reach. Many good stories to tell about 2018, many bad habits I’m still struggling with. Let’s talk! I’m very happy this year to have made @dirtyestudios operational. This is my last month or so of college until I graduate. I've spend a ridiculous amount of nights working and sleeping in my studio and soon I'll be moving on. I'm nervous about what success means for me, what a good, balanced life can be like, but I'm excited to see where my path will take me. Like most soon-to-be grads, people constantly ask me what I'll be doing next. First and foremost: I would like to be more present with my family and friends. Life is too short, I would be more than happy to slow down for a bit.
