listen i understand if you don’t know many asian actors or musicians off the top of your head that you think fit for your anime character but the fact of the matter is that if they’re a canonically asian character you should use an asian fc and looking for someone suitable for more than 5 minutes will probably lead you to an appropriate person to use
if you need to start somewhere just ask a friend who knows more about asian fcs than you or look for fc help blogs or just google what you’re looking for and if you do some research you might be surprised with what you find???
like i might be the only person or whatever but i don’t think there’s any excuse for picking a white person as the non-animated fc for a canonically asian anime character especially when that excuse is just that you don’t know of enough famous asian people to use or “asian fcs are harder to find than white fcs”
like asian fcs are always going to be harder to find if you continue to just opt for the “easier” option of picking a white fc in 5 minutes instead of actually spending time looking for an asian fc so more people can find them in turn
