Hi I'm Emma, I'm currently raising my first guide dog puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind! Durham was born April 3rd, 2016 and is a growing golden retriever puppy!

Mobley got her 16 week shots yesterday! She weighed 29.9lb, and will probably grow to about 60lb. She can start going places with me next week!

Durham was 30 pounds at 16 weeks too! She going to be a big adorable girl!

Update on missing guide dog:

“Cappuccino has been FOUND SAFE!!! Thank you so much to everyone who commented, shared, and even searched for him. He was found by a good Samaritan in his Carlsbad neighborhood and is doing very well.”

**MISSING GUIDE DOG**

A guide dog from Guide Dogs for the Blind recently went missing and we need the public’s help to #FindCappuccino. Cappuccino is a young chocolate Lab (with a distinct white patch on his chest) who is chipped and went missing on the morning of 9/24 from Carlsbad, CA (San Luis St/cross is San Ramon) in San Diego County. If anyone has seen Cappuccino or might know his whereabouts, please call Guide Dogs for the Blind at 800-295-4050. Thank you for helping to spread the word to bring Cappuccino safely home!

Durhams collar cues are coming together!

Pictures from fox island about a month ago. It was a beautiful private beach and the dogs enjoyed sleeping in the shade after 30 minutes of walking. We worked on Durhams garbage mouth there and basically just relaxed and got more cute pictures.

Pictures from the pumpkin patch visit! The pups did amazing! I was worried Durham would be constantly distracted and pulling but it all was pretty mild with him. He is kind of nervous around bigger animals but it was just slight balking when we got closer to the ponies. But when chickens came around he just looked at them and kept doing whatever we were doing at the time. I was very proud with how he acted there since so much was going on. And I literally took 364 pictures of my camera that day so it all was super cute. Tana and have have no self control when it comes to our dogs and taking cute pictures of them.

I've been home sick with bronchitis and Durhams been helping me through it. He's kind of upset because he's in the kennel more, but I don't want him out when I'm sleeping. Schools been keeping me really busy lately, but I've been posting on Instagram a lot more. Delphine follows me on there and she likes all of his pictures which makes me really happy to know she can watch him grow up.

First day of school went great! Durhams only problem period is third. And sadly I can't have him in chemistry half the time because of labs, but the awkwardness of both photos shows how well our day went. It's always so uncomfortable to tell people they can't pet him, but a lot of the kids didn't listen to me today which meant I simply had to walk away. But the teachers like him and are very supportive which I'm thankful for.

We HAVE to get them for the rest of the puppies at school! they were really nice there I wish we went together so I could have gotten one :( it would be really cute to see all their pictures in the yearbook since I know some schools do that for service dogs

I worked on puppy pads with Durham for 10 minutes the other day and he has it D O W N. I was so proud during our puppy presentations today because he did the paw pads right away and blew people away. Very proud of my boy.
