Digital circus' biggest problem is that it was written to be a niche show aimed at weird analytical queers with actual media literacy and it accidentally blew tf up and hit the mainstream and a bunch of people who have never had a second thought about anything got into it

#that part #a lot of those people i cut a lot of slack because they’re kids right #tadc was made for confused twentysomethings but it HAS been latched onto by a much younger audience #which I don’t love but I also totally get we all have that piece of adult oriented media that we loved at fourteen #that said i am unfortunately very aware that there are also just many adults who have no media literacy #and that makes me sad because this is a really cool and fun show if you like to analyze your media #and if you don’t care to do that you’re just gonna get upset if you don’t get exactly what you want
