Making a pinned post because while I didn't think I would have to make one for my personal/gaming blog, I kind of have to now

If you want to know who I am, all the important stuff is in my bio above. My inbox is closed due to fairly extensive harassment I received in the past using my identity against me via death threats, and has been for at least two years and I will not be opening it anytime soon for the sake of my sanity

Feel free to reach out to my Bluesky if you must really chat but be aware of the fact that I am very picky about who I talk to as a result of aforementioned harrassment, so please don't take it too personally if I hold you at arm's length in the beginning

This is mostly a gaming blog where I repost silly memes from people I follow, posts that are generally interesting to me, or post screencaps from whatever game I'm currently enamoured with so dont expect too much

Also making this post to ask that you please respect the 'no reposts' part of my bio-part of the reason I'm making this pinned post is because theft of my content happened to me for the first time, and while it's partly my fault for thinking I didn't need watermarks because I am a very small blog, someone in the Cyberpunk community apparently came across a post of mine, took a pic from a post i made with multiple VP shots, posted it on their own blog and made it look worse while posting it as their own content/without credit, and it bothers me a bit more than I expected because it took away the intention i had for that particular image and I've learned a lesson, at least 😅

If you like something of mine, I do ask that you please like or reblog instead of taking without credit, but I also know this is the Internet and that realistically, people can and will take stuff as soon as it's posted on here 🤷🏻

Been tinkering with Johnny's post Mikoshi design via mods because I'm terrible at making my own and this is pretty close to how I imagine it (but I also see him rocking longer and/or bleached hair again at some point, even temporarily)

Keep forgetting to post my new V, Valeria

She's technically a nomad but I'm playing the Steetkid path as it's the only life path I haven't played yet-she ended up on the streets as a teen, running away with her twin brother who she's now estranged from, and part of her story involved finding him again (she will but it's really rough)

She's pretty good with tech, is very street smart, and has excellent netrunning skills that she rarely uses because she figured out pretty quickly that a show is force is much more effective, but if she's feeling particularly vindictive or she's dealing with someone pretty reprehensible, she'll throw a little 'cripple' quickhack their way then finish 'solving the problem' 😅

My only 'canon' V is Vaughn, but all my V's-Valeria, Vincent, Vaughn-exist in the same universe, and it's usually luck/timing that leads to the various divergences in the timelines

Private Riley

It's been nearly four years since the last I drew a portrait of my character, Riley, who was previously known as Leigh before a recent name change. She comes from an original sci-fi passion project of mine that's been ongoing since 2018, though sadly it's still in the early concept stage, meaning that there isn't anything definitive as of yet. Despite this, I still felt like bringing my tough gal back (she's a space marine) 💙

Honestly I'm not super happy with the final result, but I wanted to do something quick after not drawing for weeks, so it is what it is. Also, a fun little fact - Riley has sectoral heterochromia, a condition where a person has two different colors in the same iris shown in a sectoral manner, in her right eye. I couldn't decide whether or not her eyes should've been brown or green, so I said 'screw it' and ended up putting both in one of the eyes, lol.

Fun fact: I got into Cyberpunk last May and spent the summer playing the game, thinking it would just end up being one of many games I played while sick in bed, only for it to end up becoming one of my most favourite pieces of media to date...and unexpectedly, seeing Kerry's character arc got me into playing music again (mostly the guitar) because I very much identified with his burnout and his general love of performance where music was concerned, and this dude really grew on me ❤️
