LOUIS TOMLINSON: BEST LOOKS 2020 - WINNER

In a huge final vote of 1569-549, Louis’ most formal look of 2020 has taken the crown in our annual tournament. Perhaps the fact that we all lived a more casual life this year had us gravitating towards a more dressed up moment from Louis.

#1 Neil Barrett for the ‘Walls’ Music Video

Louis’ penchant for black & white manifested in this slick, tailored suit presented in contrast to its chaotic scene in the Walls music video. The turtleneck is also a favorite of recent years, perhaps a style reference to the British rock bands that have also influenced his sound. This suit is from the Neil Barrett Spring 2020 collection.

Every year it seems like Louis’ tournament takes the wildest turns but ends up in the same-ish place. What can we say? Louies know what they like and that’s suits and knits.

Neil Barrett for the ‘Walls’ Music Video

If black & white is the signature combo for Louis, black & red gives it a run for its money. This densely patterned knit provides a sort of optical illusion when closely examined. A perfect choice for his more casual outfits during the Walls album signing events.

Louis’ ripped-from-the-lookbook mixed houndstooth suit, paired nicely with a graphic tee, is facing off against his stylish monochrome performance look from the One Show, featuring a chunky black & white knit sweater.

Neil Barrett for Walls vs. Vintage Umbro at Home

Two distinctly different looks come head to head in this round. We find Louis’ polished suit from the Walls music video up against a very casual peak into quarantine life with his short sleeve Umbro top.

Reebok for Live from London vs. Mr. P in Edinburgh

Louis gifted us a live concert to finish out the year and chose a casual Reebok tee for the performance. It faces a lovely red and black knit sweater worn to a signing event in Edinburgh earlier in 2020.
