Office is closed since last Thursday but I’ve been going in since 3/12/20 to help people get set up to work remotely. This is new for us and I’m sure many other companies. After self learning UX Design on my own since Spring 2019 (watching Youtube videos, reading online articles, several UX books, meetup panels/events, Udemy/Online courses, etc), I decided to enroll in a UX bootcamp. Tonight is my first class and I’m really excited to further my education and experience along. I’m excited to meet new people, learn new things, work on a team based project for the next 3-4 months. - I know bootcamps are a controversial topic at the moment. I’m aware that a bootcamp isn’t the answer to everything, it’s more to supplement what I’ve learned and continue to learn. This is about growth for me and creating the foundations for my future. I know it won’t be easy, it’ll be a lot of hard work and a lot of long nights but I’ll make it worth it. - I’ll try to document my experiences during the next few months as well as share anything I might’ve learned through my blog. Watched this scary movie last night for Halloween with @nellazany . The message I took away from this was Parents don’t be assholes to your kids because then they’ll be assholes back and Kids appreciate your parents (if they are good to you) a bit more because you never know what can happen.
