Every time I rewatch ATWOW with the knowledge of AFAA, all I see is Quaritch exhibiting non-stop clown behavior

Spider hovering at her side during clan gatherings, not out of insecurity but instinct. If someone stood too close, his posture would shift, subtle but unmistakable. A hand brushing hers would be met with a narrowing of his eyes. Staring at her for too long will result in him hissing and standing in front of her like a shield. Teasing her will result in him roasting the wannabe bully so badly that adults have to step in.

It was almost absurd! This small human boy bristling protectively beside a Na’vi girl who could lift him with one arm if she chose and punt him into the sun. Yet Kiri had allowed it. Encouraged it, even judging by the secret smile on her lips whenever he bristled like a porcupine if someone teased her one too many times.
