I saw your ghibli style art and I was like 🤩

How did you manage to pull off that art style?

i actually got pulled into it by a friend who wanted me to animate a ghibli-styled shortfilm. so i binge watched several films and payed close attention to detail! mind me, before that time i had never watched a ghibli movie before. but ever since, i've become comfortable on the freedom i get drawing on that artstyle, so i stuck with it.

the things i mostly payed close attention to were the hair, clothes, and how the body moves. that's it :) soft corners and fluffy everything!

i've actually been self taught but also been lucky enough to be surrounded by loads of kind artist friends! i've also been drawing for like thirteen years now lol

but if you do something that you love with all your heart, what you create will sure carry all that love and passion in it. also loads of practice and honest feedback from friends really work as well haha
